I'm all for more boxing being on terrestrial television, but Frampton's fighting a complete turnip here, don't think I'll bother to watch tbh.

Arreola will be on ITV4 against TBA before the Frampton fight so that will be mildly interesting as well.

It's great news that ITV are going to stay involved with him, that said, thank god for Sky+ because the Quigg fight should be the far more entertaining *should be*

The Frampton fight is scheduled to be on before the Quigg fight.

It would make little sense for Hearn to schedule Quigg head to head with Frampton as Carl is on the bigger platform. I'd be interested if ITV are paying a rights fee for the fight.

A **** opponent with a half ****d crowd, with no atmosphere in the middle of the afternoon. Haymon will ruin the Frampton experience.

He's fighting an Al Haymon special though, while he isn't an Haymon fighter even.

Will very much be a case of Frampton’s team buying air time. If ITV weren’t interested in the Kiko fight they aren’t going to shell out money to watch Carl fight a complete bum.

If anything this shower of ****e being shown on terrestrial TV is bad for boxing.

ITV is great, I always like to see fights on free to air TV channels, young fans who might not have access to Sky or Boxnation get to tune in and watch some live boxing.

Not the greatest showcase given the level of opponent but exposure all the same I suppose

That's what happens when you fight against the machine! Frampton will end up doing a Froch and sign up with matchroom to make his fortune.

More great exposure for Frampton and good news ITV seem to be sticking with him, long may it continue and hopefully we see him in some big fights with ITV.
