    Nail on the head!!

Quiggs first 5 fights were 2 minute rounds against complete muppets.

This is a tough fight for Frampton, both lads really taking a step up in opposition. I personally feel Quigg could of done with another couple of fights before facing Monroe who is a proven operator.

Comparisons between Quigg's/Frampton's progress at respective stages of their career are futile. Scott barely had an amateur career and Carl was a top class amateur, polar opposites. It stands to reason these kinds of fighters need more time to develop technically.

Not that I admire fighters taking on complete tomato cans as it serves no purpose.

That is true, and to be fair to Quigg he's nearly 2 years younger than Carl. Personally I don't think you can complain about either man's matchmaking at this present moment in time. Infact I think both are perfect examples of how young fighters should be matched considering their talent and how they've progressed so far. The real test for their promoters is what they'll do should both men win their upcoming fights.

But Frampton wants to fight Kiko and Quigg so he and his promotion have openly said what level they think he is on and what level he should be fighting on. His competition is not backing up their words.
