I reckon Warren offered more ££ up front, but long-term Eddie would have been better. Warren's relationships with big name fighters never end well.

    Possibly.

This is just a cash-out for Carl, not to mention that he genuinely dislikes Eddie.

Besides, if Carl went to Eddie he'd be having in-house trilogies with Selby (who I'd rather see face different comp).

That's a good signing. BT sport were lacking a big name to be the face of boxing on the channel and now they've got one with Frampton.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make Warrinton vs Frampton down the line.

Good point, there was no chance he would sign with Eddie anyway. It will be interesting to see if Warren brings him the fights he craves for.

Awful decision by Frampton. Love him or hate him but Eddie would have been a better option.

Sky PPV for the last 2 years off his career. Also with Macklin as well. Trained by Moore. Promoted by FW. Al Haymon involved and the BBBoC claiming that McGuigan still holds contractual rights.

Shocking decision making on his part as everyone will take their slice

Terrible decision by Frampton, my guess is Frank offered Carl a huge lump sum up front much like he did with Dubois to persuade him to join. I don't think Frank can deliver the same mega fights Hearn could have done, the best he will get with Frank is a showdown with Warrington (big whoop) alongside a few bums to keep Carl ticking over, I'm very underwhelmed by this news.

Frank's been bringing over the big names for 30 plus years. Stop treating him like a mug.

I have a lot of respect and time for Frank but he's not the promoter he used to be. The BT Sport deal so far has been a big let down, the biggest fight he's delivered on that channel is Saunders v Monroe. Now he's got Frampton on board he has to deliver the big fights for him. We'll see what happens, it's a good signing by Frank and BT but I'm not sure if it's a good move from Frampton. Like him or hate him Eddie Hearn is the best in the business right now he's delivering big fights for all his top fighters. If Frampton went with Hearn we would be seeing Frampton in a big stadium fight within a year.

Is Selby a matchroom fighter though?
