Jesus, how has the BT deal been a let down? It's only just started and we've already had Gervonta Davis v Walsh, Saunders v Monroe, Williams v Smith etc a fight or the year contender in Williams v Smyle. The upcoming Leeds, Leicester and Newcastle shows look like crackers and not to mention the massive improvement in the production of the shows.

BT content has been good. Rome wasn't built in a day, Hearn took a few years to really take off with sky.

Bt might take off...but time isn't on Carl's side....he would be better off with the proven outfit Matchroom/sky. Also I feel they would gel better with Moore and Macklin. Overall I feel he should have gone with them, not Warren/bt.

Frampton has signed with the 3rd biggest promoter in Europe and 5th biggest promoter in the world. Frank might even be bigger than Sauerland. And BT are a much bigger company than SKY with a lot more money.

Eddie might be Number 1, however if he has too many fighters some will suffer.

Frampton is the star fighter for Britain's 2nd biggest promoter.

Frank must have made big promises. He'll surely push the boat out for Carl. Very interesting to see how it plays out.

What about Warrens history of falling out with many boxers? All the litigation he gets involved in etc etc..
Hearn seems to be well-liked by the fighters he promotes.

That's like saying ESPN are much bigger than HBO with much more money as they are owned by Disney.

However we both know that a fighter signed to HBO is a lot more productive than than fighting on ESPN.

Unless you can show that BT's budget for boxing and its reach among fans is greater than sky's then 'BT having much more money' means very very little.

Frank is living off from his reputation.Just listen to him and look at him,he is just so 90's,he reminds you of the past.Frampton has had idiots in charge of his career, not just moneywise look at how santa cruz took the micky.BT might have more money but they may be giving frank a small budget to work with which would make sense with the quality of shows we are seeing from them but i think he has made a huge mistake to not go with Matchroom.

I think people need to stop dragging up this tired old narrative. Out of the 100s of fighters Frank has promoted over 30+ years in the business very few of them in reality have had an issue with him (regardless of whether it's justified or not). It's pretty obvious that Carl was heavily influenced by MTK to go with Frank who they work very closely with especially in Ireland. MTK will have a lot of say in the direction of this deal (maybe to much for Hearns liking) and I think we will find tomorrow at the press conference that they gave big plans in place -starting with November 18th.

So whats happening with the fights then?

Warren can't even front the money to get Linares in the ring vs Flanagan.

Look at that BJS v Monroe fight and the undercard. If that's an indicator of the money BT are putting into boxing then I don't see how that's any better than Sky.

Hearn would of got absolutely roasted for the card like that on Sky.

Mate, the BT deal is only about 6 months old...we've had solid fights already but give them a chance to flesh out there plans. The last copperbox card was the only substandard card we have had so far - look at what they have lined up..a succession of really solid cards throughout the uk. If whispers are true the Belfast frampton card in November is also going to be class.

Frank's offered Linares big money, but has been turned down.

Indecently, Flanagan VS Verdejo was supposed to be on the Saunders card. Verdejo signed and sealed, but Flanagan pulled out injured.

So Frank and BT are clearly bringing people over.

The BT deal has been a let down I'm sorry to say.

    Saunders - no big fights
    Flanagan - no big fights
    Warrington - no big fights
    Skeete - no big fights

Dubois and Yarde only fighting bums.

    What's changed honestly?
