It also sounds atrocious to me although I love weed. The second part I’m with you though. Weed makes me want to be around people even less.

It has a nostalgia vibe for me, it was an integral part of the grunge scene in the early 90s when I was in junior high, before it was totally co-opted by surfer dude-bros, patchouli-reeking neo-hippies and every degenerate suburban runaway baggy-pants druggie.

I guess you'll need to be posting her pic now that you've mentioned her, since that's what we're doing in here apparently. :sisi1

It hit Florida when I was in High School, and they were all patchouli-reeking neo-hippies hipsters wearing Billabong shirts, I wanted to knee them in the face. Not one quasi-normal one in the bunch, frauds riding the trend for all it was worth.

That's why I love the northeast, that scene never took firm root here, us New Englanders are too surly for that ****. We lend ourselves more to being grunge or goth or tr00 kvlt black metallers. At least those of us with half a brain. The rest jam out to "Sweet Caroline" at Sox games as though Neil Diamond were actually some kind of musical genius. :ohno

Sadly we have regional scenes, the goth kids are in Miami, death metal kids primarily in the capital of death metal Tampa and the Orlando scene is pretty much non existent, its mainly pop punk or hippies, sadly I live near Orlando.:ohno Although when I was in High School I was partial to the Death Metal scene, which was quite prevalent state wide at the time.

I mean you're practically in the birthplace of the American DM scene, at the very least of its Godfather (or just straight up God) Chuck Schuldiner.
