Frank gets destroyed. Too slow to hit Frazier with more than one shot at a time. He might get a knockdown but franks stamina was poor and frazier wuld keep bobbing and weaving under his mechanical punches and burying his left hook into franks jaw and ribs until he caves. Frazier tko 8

That and the fact that I'm an old fart!

Seriously though. Check the show out. It's genius. The only crappy characters are the Brits, Frasier's home help Daphne and her family who have the worst British accents since Dick van Dyke - cor blahmey, gav'nor - in Mary Poppins.

Also, I'm surprised you're young. You're one of the posters with a good knowledge of past fighters. Clearly a fan of the sport. Good for you, mucker. I'll look out for your posts and hopefully, one day, come up with a joke that will mean something to you. All the best.

It seemed as if Bruno had all the physical tools to beat the real Frazier, Joe, but I don't think he would. Maybe score a knockdown, but I think Frazier would take him apart in a manner like watching a pack of hyenas eat a live zebra on the nature channel.

The real funny thing is slow Foreman dismantled Frazier and he was the only real power puncher Frazier met up with.

Yet the bigger Bruno who had better technical punching than Foreman of the 70's gets destroyed? Yep more boxing logic at its finest....lol

All of Bruno's losses have come late in his fights in fights he was winning barring Tyson who is levels of power over Frazier , you guys realize Joe would have to reach these rounds to win right?

Frazier just steam rolls him though right? Total mismatch again.

The problem with Bruno was that he always found a way to lose his big fights, fights that by rights, he should've won. Bruno had all the physical attributes to take Joe Frazier apart, that I can get on board with. I'd say that Bruno had all of the physical attributes and technical ability to by rights, be favored over a 1970's George Foreman. On paper, that should be the case.

The thing is, for some reason or another, he just couldn't translate it into the ring against his very top tier opponents. IMO, he should've stopped Lennox Lewis. It looked like he had the fight in the bag, he just wouldn't pull the trigger. Bruno's punching power wasn't the problem, I'd rate Bruno as a harder puncher than Rahman and McCall. I don't know if he just lacked the killer instinct or what it was, it's just that against a prime Joe Frazier, I suspect that this would be another fight that on paper, he should win, but in the real world of the boxing ring, he'd blow it.

Bruno could prove to be a tough opponent for Joe Frazier, but to beat Frazier, he'd have to go out there and go for the kill early without lollygagging around. I don't think he'd do that. He'd be cautiously trying to box and before you know it, he's gassing out and Frazier's just all over him and it turns into a disaster for Bruno.

In the real world Frazier at 205 vs a 245/250 Bruno would in itself one have the bookies scratching there heads to who should be favored.

There's literally no fight Frazier won besides a fat Mathis who was a 6" 3 240 plus guy to go on and that was a very competitive fight.

Sure Frazier could win but the guys who Bruno lost to were big guys and Frazier wasn't exactly hard to find. I think its blatenley obvious this is not an easy fight and it favors Bruno on paper and how each lost reflects why........

Frazier was suspect with power punchers.

    Bruno was extremely hard hitting!

Bruno's only loses when weighing over 230 have been too

    1. Mike Tyson
    2. Lennox Lewis.

His best performance was against Lewis and he was almost 250 pounds. Frazier in retrospect can be giving up almost 45 pounds depending what Bruno you use.

I find it questionable if Frazier can do the same as either Tyson or Lewis.

Frazier was a natural fighter, Bruno fought by numbers, when he got tagged he just stood there. He was a good on top fighter, but the only time he came back from adversity to win was against Cummings when he was out on his feet and the bell rescued him.
Frazier did only fight one real power puncher but Geroge and Frank had totally different mind sets against class guys.Frank was nurtured I know .I saw just about all his fights in the UK, lovely guy but he isn't beating Frazier imo

Bruno could win with a mindset focused on destruction. But he likely would be too tentative and that would be his undoing. Not because he isn't physically capable. Often times, the mental is as important as the physical.

IMO Bruno is physically capable of pulling off a Foreman like demolition job on Frazier. But he didn't seem to have the mindset for it. I think he'd end up badly losing because of his tentativeness and Fraizers attitude of throwing caution to the wind. In a way, Bruno would be his own worst enemy in a fight with Joe Frazier.

Like I said Frazier would HAVE to actually make a long fight out of this and create this adversity you are talking about. Where he hasn't won with power puncher and had close calls to guys not as dangerous as Bruno...

This also includes given up 40 pounds or more and putting Frazier on a Tyson and Lewis level if we are going by what Bruno you use correct?

See this is where using real life stuff comes in.

I don't put Frazier near Tyson , so no I don't see how anyone can't just say Frazier wins with such neglect on just his name Joe Frazier. Lol
