A horrible match-up for Bowe, Bruno is the big fighter with the thudding jab that would cause Bowe fits.

I think Bowe at his best eventually gets on top to win late, but it would be anything but easy.

Bowe TKO12 leading 6-5 going into the final round.

Knowing Big Frank, he'd probably be up on the cards and have Bowe wobbled a couple of times, before a big barrage of shots sees him stumbling about with his arms at his side as the ref stops it.

Bruno's jab and power are the big obstacles for Bowe here. Pretty much everything else is to Bowe's advantage, but both those things aren't and both those things gave him problems with other fighters.

Difficult fight for Bowe, Bruno was strong and had knockout power and to be fair only the very best in the division defeated him. Providing Rid**** took the fight seriously, he wears Bruno down stopping him around the halfway mark but not without a few scares along the way. Bruno receives unfair criticism and by European standards was actually a very good fighter, certainly well above Hide and Harrison....

Bruno gives Bowe trouble with his jab, but Bowe gets him outta there from 6 to 10 for a ref stoppage.

Bruno would make this competitive for 6 rounds max, before he gasses, and then its all Bowe.

Have to agree. It was said earlier that Bruno's bad stamina would catch up to him and I have to agree to that too.

Still, Bruno is bound to have his moments. I would not be surprised if his jab didn't mark Bowe up around the eyes, and if he wobbled Bowe once or twice.
It would be quite a good fight while it lasted, but overall Bowe, the better technician, and the more composed, fluid guy, has to be favoured.

    I always thought Bowe was a good-natured sort. A fun-loving, amicable type.
Rock Newman on the other hand...

Bruno would do well for a few rounds then get KO'd, same as he always did against anyone decent.

Bruno would do well at first then find a way to lose. It's what he did against the very best.

This would've been an incredible battle for 6 rounds with both guys stunning the other, until, of course, Bowe takes over as Bruno withers. But don't let anyone fool you, Bruno would make it hell for Bowe in there.

Who do you mean? Bruno took plenty from Tyson and Lewis. Big hitting heavyweights rather than big hitting cruisers. Bowe's chin never proved itself any more than Bruno's did.
