well, from the stories ive been reading, this could well be a blockbuster show in march, possible team up with khans english fight 4 ppv, n then we could well see degale/groves, chisora/fury, cleverly/braemer, also would like 2 see kell fight for european that would be interesting against a battle hardened hatton although unlikely, and it would all possibly take place at the m.e.n with all the local interest.

How about at the MEN in March

Miguel Acosta vs John Murray (WBA Lightweight)

What better way to secure the hottest free agent in Britain than a world title fight in his hometown. All the other champions are busy. Marquez unlikley....but that would be big.

Beibut Shumenov vs Nathan Cleverly (WBA/WBO Light Heavyweight)

Or Braehmer if he wins. Cleverly will be the mandatory for either of them. If not the Bellew fight could happen.

Kell Brook vs Vitaliy Demyanenko (WBO interim Welterweight)

Mike Jones is fighting Karas in a rematch so Brook takes on the next avalible contender for the interim belt.

Matthew Macklin vs Gennady Martirosyan (European & WBO Middleweight eliminator)

Barker is fighting in a Febuary comeback fight so won't be ready for March. GM ranked no.1 by the WBO.

James DeGale vs George Groves (British & Commonwealth Super Middleweight)

Groves is DeGales mandatory so this fight has to happen. Frank wins the purse bids and put the mega domestic fight on.

Derek Chisora vs Tyson Fury (British & Commonwealth Heavyweight)

Fury is Chisora's mandatory. Both need a big fight to push there careers on.

Frankie Gavin vs Steve Williams (Vacant Commonwealth Light Welterweight)

Ajose will vacate so a good chance for Frankie to pick up a domestic belt.

On the undercard incase of pull outs you could have some of these which would all be good.

Kevin Mitchell vs Alex Arthur (IBF International Lightweight)
Liam Walsh vs Joseph Laryea (Commonwealth Super Featherweight)
Larry Olubawimou vs John McDermott (Vacant English Heavyweight)
Nick Blackwell vs Billy Joe Saunders (English Middleweight)

and Frank can still do shows in Scotland with Ricky Burns and Liverpool with Smith and Bellew.

This would be perfect if it doubled with Haye vs Klitscko to.

Macklin would have a good chance against that Gennady, but not the other Gennady :bbb

Murray and Cleverly would both lose. Macklin might end up defeated if he fights like he did against Varon and the Georgian. I'm not hopeful about our world title hopefuls at the moment. The only one's I'm confident about are DeGale and possibly Gavin. The last couple of shows have really brought our prospects crashing back down to Earth.

That card would be awesome and it'd be better if we got Macklin/Barker :hey

    Isn't Barker the mando?

What's up with Murray? Still with Mick or not?

Cleverly would actually do quite well against Shumenov and Braehmer, they would come to him and Cleverly likes that. Still, its no good him saying oh those tricky types like yer man saturday night don't suit him. If he wants to be a great fighter he has to learn how to adapt. He has huge flaws in his game and maybe his dad and Dean Powell aren't quite good enough to take him to world level.

Macklin vs Barker needs to be made immediately.

It's not going to gain any more lustre, is it?

Barker hasn't beaten anyone good and Macklin is just asking to be knocked out by a world class opponent.

The fight should be at 175lbs in a few more years when both fighters are 3 weight world champions.:deal

I prefer to wait a bit longer, when they've got their walking sticks.

We'll have Buchanan vs Duran II on the undercard, with Ali vs Frazier IV :hey

Barker returns from his injury in Febuary so March would be a tough ask. Would also rather see that fight on the card just cannot see it until later in the year.
