He was in some programme on TV. Stella, I think it was called. Some comedy-drama type thing.

Here you go, pinnacle of his career:

Funny Lacy had a 209-12 amateur record and had won the IBF/IBO title so I would say Calzaghe ruined him. As for Froch, he was offered a then career high purse to fight Calzaghe, simply because Froch had been relentlessly calling him out. Froch turned it down because there was a rematch clause (which is ridiculous when expecting an optional defence) it was meant to be when the Bika fight was. Not that long before Froch fought Pascal.

Lots of Calzaghe fans are just knuckle dragging Sun reading morons who believe anything Franky boy tells them.

Frank could write an article in The Sun saying "back in 2001 we planned on moving Joe up to Heavyweight, I offered Lennox Lewis 100 million for the fight at Cardiff Ice Ring but Lennox knows how good Joe is and just didn't fancy it, so we moved on to bigger and better things and Joe stayed at Supper Middle weight and fought all time great Will McIntrye instead."

    And people would believe it.

    Not true at all.

    Froch DEFINITELY wanted Joe.

Joe, on the other hand, did not really avoid Carl... he just didn't see him as big enough a name at the time.

    Why would anyone believe Frank?

We offered Hopkins, Shumenv, Bellew, and Froch top dollar, TOP DOLLAR! to face brave Nathan Cleverly, and they all refused! Cowards. Now, we found a fine opponent for Cleverly, some gentleman from the states named Karpency. Let me tell you, this will be the hardest fight of young Nathan's career as Karpency has NEVER been stopped...

Franks fighters all follow the same script.

Pick up the vacant WBO title.

Defend it against bums whilst making half arsed offers to the real World champions - demanding that they come to him, to fight on his terms.

Then when these fighters laugh off Franks offers, make out that everyone is ducking his fighter.

And how many Calzaghe opponents "earnt" a shot? What? About 5 of 20?

His shoulder injury ruined him. How is a few light slaps going to damage a professional fighter? Calzaghe was underrated when he fought Lacy but that doesn't change the fact that Lacy has zero significant wins in his pro career.

No one believes a serious offer was made. Froch is just another of the 25 fighters Joe couldn't fight because they were ducking a limited light fisted fighter with a garbage resume. Somehow I doubt Joe scared that many fighters over 12 years.

I also heard that the offer included options for 3 fights.I don`t think Froch ever wanted to be controlled by fwank allot like Haye.
