Frank is very angry and for the way Brock acted, I don't blame him. The apology is accepted. I love the fact Dana sits these guys down, boys them up and has them apologising the next day. Imagine James Toney apologising
To be truthfully honest, I don't what's the point of Dana's disciplining here. It was recently when he said Herschel Walker would die in the UFC.
I do not care! Quite frankly most fighters/athletes are painfull to hear speak.. It is all 8th grade bull****. That is what their demographic expects/wants from them. Sports would not have the same appeal if the participants spole like British professors.
I can understand if someone says some poor comments just before or after a fight when they are hyped up, but Mir has no excuses. He's a co-commentator and understands the media better than anyone. I hope Carwin smashes him and I'm happy to see that the resounding mauling that Lesnar dished out to him at UFC 100, still hurts him to the core!
The fans shouldn't really give a ****; does anybody actually think he wants Lesnar to actually be seriously injured?
i hated frank mirs guts when i first came across him and i pretty much shrugged him off as an arrogant, pretty boy, wannabe fighter but after paying closer attention and seeing him perform over the years ive gradually grown to be a massive mir fan. He really is an intelligent guy who makes a concious effort to control his ego. how many fighters will apologise, admit to being scared in the cage, point out their own shortcomings etc.. the other thing is no matter what he says its going to be 100% truth. whether or not you agree with him is another matter but he calls it like he sees it. go frank mir i say..

i hear you - he's intelligent and a very good hw, but i don't know how much credit he should get on this apology. first off it was just a dumb thing to say (if anyone's gonna die in a rematch it'll be him and he got owned last time) and i doubt lesnar was "offended" by it as i'm sure he's said worse. second, he was probably feeling a lot of heat from fans and maybe ufc brass. so he probably rationalized that the best thing to do was retract/appologize.
Seems a bit dramatic to me.. Just feels like WWE style drama to me, in order to create more interest for the fight. Already interesting to me without the drama.
