You've got a problem with me making a prediction on something that I think would happen in a prospective fight now?

Nah no problem! Just alot of 1 sided views and Rios will do this and Rios will do that when to be honest whats Rios actually done thats better than Burns? Nothing! Saying that I dont know much about Rios other than seeing the Murray fight and I didnt see anything there that made me think Burns would have too many problems.

    What's he done better?

Establish himself as #1 in the division. :yep Something which Burns has never done.

The one sided views reflect the way that most people think the fight would go. What do you want them to do, talk up Burns' chances when they don't think he has any?

I personally think Burns would give Rios a fair few problems. Especially at 135 which is a weight I don't think that Rios can do any more. Which is why he didn't look great against Murray, it's not surprising that he didn't perform to 100% when he looked like a corpse the day before. Judging Rios on the Murray fight alone isn't a great idea, and doesn't leave you in a great position to envisage what would happen in a Rios-Burns bout.

Rating's dont mean much now do they! and I / us can only go from a fighters last performance as thats how they last performed, maybe he looked the dogs before the fight with Murray, maybe he was struggling at the weight...so do something about he's a professional boxer.

So if Rios moves up a weight will everyone be saying he's ducking Burns? no chance not like they did when Burns moved up to duck Broner, right!

Each to their own, my opinion is Burns is a vastly improved fighter with the ability to now mix with the Elite. :smooch

Sorry, how are Murray and Burns' approach to the game anywhere near comparable?

Well they do, when they're based on what both fighters have done, and you're asking me what Rios has done which Burns hasn't.

Why are we only going off their last performance? Do the rest not count?

If Rios moved up there wouldn't be so much as a whisper about him ducking Burns because Ricky has done very little to put himself near that fight. We all know that Frank Dubs has no intention of making that fight. It's not like Burns is Rios' mandatory...

Dont know what your going on about was commenting on the Murray / Rios fight and how Burns would fair against Rios.

Last performance is how the fighter last performed, ratings / rankings take into consideration the number of wins or losses but wont take into consideration how a fighter performed!

Exactly. How did that fight show you Burns would win?

I never said Burns would win? I said I didnt see anything that would cos Burns too many problems, Burns blocks alot of punches and counters very well, his punch power in my opinion is underated and does wear opponents down if not knocking them out.
