Sick of Mitchell to be honest. Comes up short, all the excuses in the world, then won't get involved in a huge opportunity for himself without making life difficult.

Mitchell has an opinion of himself that the rest of the boxing world cannot see , he thinks he's world class and he thinks he's a big draw

    Sadly he's neither

At this moment in time Burns is the star here not Kevin Mitchell

To be fair , the way he handled Katsidis and Moses confirmed that Ricky Burns is now operating on world level

Burns is not a big enough draw.

A big payday , in a domestic showdown with an established British Champion for Ricky Burns is not a step back

Mitchell hasn't even won an interim belt, Ricky is a two-weight world champion. The gulf in class is huge.

Burns would stop Mitchell regardless of how well prepared he is.

Burns is a world champion who schooled a guy who blasted Kevin into next week !!!! , Mitchell has a decent win over John Murray but still shipped some big shots even from him , Ricky Burns would out sell Kevin Mitchell in Glasgow without a shadow of a doubt , nobody is buying into Mitchell in London anymore , he had his chance against Katsidis and blew it

Katsidis was an over whelming favourite in most people's minds to walk through Burns , if that wasn't supposed to a test then I'm not sure what is / was , Moses is certainly not a chump he was made to look average by Ricky Burns who was excellent in all areas on the night

Burns Rios is a great fight as is anyone world class pitted against Brandon Rios , the fight for Burns is Mitchell , it has to happen next , both fighters have momentum , both are British , and both (in some cases) are considered world class (Burns yes , Mitchell no IMO) , its got all the ingredients , it has to happen

The biggest Arena in Scotland is 6,000.

In London you have Wembley Arena, Excel, The 02. All double that amount.

It doesnt matter who the better fighter is. it matters who sells the tickets.
