think the SECC is also double the 6000capacity that the biggest arena in scotland holds, frank just doesnt like to pay for it with the easy transportlinks and all that you dont get with the braehead arena

Burns wont blast Mitchell out.. Burns doesnt have the power... if Mitchell is prepared he is a world class fighter trust me. Burns wouldnt beat John Murray in that fashion

if have got absolute no time for this if he was prepared crap its not as if he takes fights at short notice he just choses to prepare the way he does because he scared to fully commit and get beat then he cant have no excuses for getting beat

no excuses but Kevin Mitchell can box we all know this like he did against Prescott and Kevin Mitchell can bang like he did against Murray

Burns can box but can he bang?

And it was a silly way to behave then too. At least he could claim Murray hadn't faced a world-level opponent. Burns has done much more in the last two years, including beating the man who hammered Kevin.

People tend to forget that John Murray admittedly " over looked " Kevin and wasn't fully prepared , this was evident in the Rios fight , out gunned and outclassed John Murray's chin looked dependable

Mitchell didn't blast anybody , he caught Murray coming in with a flush shot (that John Murray walked onto) which stunned him then followed it up with a barrage of shots causing a referee's intervention , its not like he bombed Murray out of there , also , what people tend to forget is that Mitchell shipped some punishment himself against Murray and didn't have it all his own way

I know a stoppage is about as definitive as it gets , but !!! , it was an even fight up until Kevin hurt John

Burns is looking more of a boxer than a puncher these days which is to do with strategy not punching ability , Burns was packing enough to keep Katsidis interested which is enough proof for me

No no no. From what I understand, Ricky rejected the fight because of financial reasons. I'm not suggesting for one minute he rejected the fight because he is scared of Kevin. That clearly isn't the case.

Where did i say the stoppage was not convincing ???

I dont agree with that at all

Murray was having his moments in the fight up until he was hurt , as was Kevin , i thought it was an even fight myself

5-2 in Mitchell's favour going into the 8th. Murray's only rounds were 2 and 5 for me.

I have seen the " full " fight enough times to make up my own mind dum ass

I had a little more closer than that , 1 , 7 and obviously 8 were big rounds for Kevin , given that he hurt John badly in 7 then duly stopped him in 8 put a stamp on the fight , but in the early / middle rounds Mitchell was boxing off his back foot a lot , and didn't seem to be getting to John , clearly he was but it didn't appear that way

I thought Murray done some good work before 7 , i didn't score the fight but i was getting the feeling Murray was having some success around 3 - 6
