Frank Warren / Joe Joyce

I think Frank has put all his eggs in one basket with Dubois. He desperately needs a star, Fury is partially an ESPN fighter so he's not completely Warren's and probably only has a few fights left.

Dubois was his golden goose. They've built Dubois up to be the next Joshua and he and BT probably wanted to market him in a similar way.

Joyce didn't deserve that though, he's a good guy and a good fighter in his own right.

 

Joyce should stand up for himself more. I would have like to have seen him rep that win like a jabbing masterclass. He beat up Dubois bad using only a jab and finished him with a jab. Easy nights work for the Jabbernaught.

If I was Joyce Monday morning I’d be calling Eddie. Fwank will ruin him and he’s not at an age to be messed.

Good points and well made. My issue with Warren is we have now seen with Dubois and Yarde he has fed them bums and then just thrown them at world level. Should be building Dubois slower, giving him genuine tests etc then stepping up. Easier said than done as I thought he would blast out Joyce but I’m not paid to pick fights

 

I think if Dubois had made it to the end the cards would have had Joyce as the winner. Joyce was fine whereas Dubois was bashed up with only one eye to see out of, a jabbers dream.

 

It did make the victory even more satisfying seeing how pissed Warren was as he saw his chances of a stadium fight with his new AJ disappear before his eyes!

I’d be surprised if he really does want to put Dubois in with Joyce again, if he does it will be done as a punishment for letting him down.

Seeing things go tits up for Warren never gets old, no matter how many times it happens!

 

Dana White says hello, he wrote the playbook on throwing champions under the bus. In the boxing world, many do it too, recently Bob Arum **** all over Crawford. Both do far worse than what Frank done who didn't do anything really, just was unenthusiastic which is very understandable seems as Dubois was his golden goose who he had all his money and backing with, and was just killed moments before

 

No you wouldn’t because you’re signed with Warren. Which you’d already know, if you were Joyce.

 

Depends what the deal is but id think at worse for Joyce is a 3 fight deal so best he gets a couple more medium build up fights and then switches to where the money is.
