I was really impressed with everything Frankie did. Definitely the best I've seen of him and I'd like to see a title challenge now. Credit to Lomax, he wasn't bad at all but Frankie was a different class. An entertaining and quality performance :good

I don't think Brook would touch Frankie, Brook's flashy but no where near as fundamentally sound as Gavin. Would see Frankie beating Theophane too if he doesn't vacate.

Was great to watch. Nice to see a British fighter where we don't say "He still needs to work on his defence."

He's early in his career and seems to be committing more to his punches, all good things for me.

gavin is the best prospect in europe if you need any convincing watch the 4th round and listen to farnell shouting instructions to gavin every time gavin hears farnell he tries to implement them that's the sign of a quality fighter

Yes a very sound performance last night, good footwork, and that defence is becoming second nature, which is a real good thing for the future.

Frankie is on another level, he's got great balance, he's composed, very relaxed and has a good variety of punching. I think he'll go all the way but could do with a new trainer really :)

His footwork is fantastic and he has a great boxing brain. Reminded me of Jason Booth at times last night.

Nothing to do with Frankie, just don't rate Farnell very highly. With Frankie being such a fantastic amateur you'd expect him to look good in the early stages of his pro career, it's when they step up through the classes that trainers really matter.

Arnie hasn't done much wrong as a trainer so to say you dont rate him seems strange? go watch him train his lads im sure you'd change your mind!

frankie gavin looked extremely good last night, against a good domestic boxer.
gavins looks better with every fight. he looks better than khan did at this stage of his career, his posture and punching was perfect,he dismantled and handled him with ease, looked worldclass,NOT against a jouneyman, but a british level welter.

i wish i could go and spar with frankie down at arnies,i love the way he fights, dos not waste owt,dos not jab and ****ing leg it,moves his head, not legs it to get away, that is what boxing is about:thumbsup
but i think i would sicken him and he would be upset about being beat down by a 40 y old bloke:bart

im licking ya arse frankie, but after last night and some of the comments off some of the dickheads on here who know everything about boxing,oh apart from the boxing part itself:bbb, you deserve it mate, keep it up:thumbsup

And how do you know i've not been to watch him train his lads??? No doubt he's a nice guy but i don't rate him. I think he's unproven and has been gifted a lot of talent on the back of his pro career. Just look at the improvement of Crolla since he left!!!
