I've already provided my expert analysis on this fight. I broke the fight down and gave an expert and qualified opinion on the fight. I believe Junior Witter rolls back the years for the first three rounds, just by fighting awkward and holding, a bit like Reid against Anderson. Then Frankie will collect rounds, showing Witters age and fall from grace. The fight will be a bore fest as the styles will clash, and Witter will adopt such a negative style within his style to try and make the fight difficult for Frankie. Witter will try to use his awful Prizefighter tactics, but try and sustain it over the 12 rounds. However, he will be unable to do this, as he will tire midway and just coast for the rest of the fight, with Frankie out boxing Witter and figuring him out after the early "success" of Witter. I don't think Gavin will hurt or stop Witter, because Witter will fight so awkwardly here, Gavin won't be able to catch him flush or with anything meaningful. So Gavin will adopt boxing behind a jab, in and out for the remainder of the fight. I see a similar fight to Mayweather-Mosley in how it plays out, but without Witter hurting Gavin at the beginning. Frankie Gavin UD12, in a complete bore fest.
hope it aint a borefest long way down for us brummies lol although i do think frankie going to put on a show then again i wont care if he wins over 12 dull rounds wont be me driving back so would of helped me sleep
Haha... I've not been to any boxing this year, so when I was offered a ticket decided to go. The drive home is going to be a killer.
Jav 2 sleeq khaliq was a legend. Beat takaloo early in his career and put on some great performances. I Hare was very overrated. I I remember darker going crazy when he dropped bergman, and screaming, that he was world class
id love to see frankie put in a great performance and get his **** back on track. hes only a couple of good results from being a euro level contender. people forget how slowly froch career seemed to be going before he fought pascal, it was like he was going nowhere. hes got the talent, but if he doesnt apply himself from this point i dont think its ever happening, and what a ****ing waste that would be.
Gavin can stop him, all depends if he doesn't let Witter's awkwardness get to him and is willing to take a few risks. If he wants to fence and feint his way to victory it'll be an unsatisfying UD.
Lets hope Frankie sticks to his in and out style as long as he does he`ll hopefully be able to stop witter grabbing and holding and outwork him
