His amateur background which he has played on for years as some kind of evidence he'd beat the likes of Khan and brook
Way to fleshy for the weight, is he a drinker ? Something doesn't seem right IMO & he doesn't have the no power at the weight & didn't once trouble Skeete Maybe personal problems but he just don't look right He looked so flabby
Gavin is the only one who doesn't think he looks flabby. He thinks he can't drop 7lb and move to LWW! What he knows about nutrition you could write on the back of a stamp! :good
Waste of talent, he should be at 140 but lacks the dedication to make the weight. He should have also signed to Golden Boy when he turned pro. The talent is their but he has made the wrong career moves and he lacks dedication.
He stepped up to European level and lost to a 40 year-old, not good considering the hype he was getting. Just watch Bundu when he gets outclassed and smashed to pieces by Thurman in a couple of weeks and that should give you some perspective of far away Gavin is from being World class.
Not impressed with him at all really, I expected a demolition job on Skeete last night really, no disrespect to Bradley but Gavin really should be beating him by a greater margin. He's definitely euro level but I cant see him ever making world level
Should be fighting at light welter what's Kerry Kaye's the guy who everyone talks about like he's the dogs danglers diet and conditioning plan telling him to do eat bacon butties and do no running all the skills but no discipline last night was boring and I had skeete winning by two rounds it's as good as over because he won't fight at correct weight
Agreed. I think Gavin is stubborn and thick (to a degree) about his career. He CAN lose 7lbs. He SHOULD go abroad and get world class sparring. If last night wasn't a reality check for him (going by the post-fight interview, it wasn't) he's done.
He knows deep down last night was a joke and if massive changes not made he's finished needs to drop down in weight and to drop the yes men in his camp
He should probably be a light weight. Could have possibly won a medal at the Olympics but never even made the weight what other boxer has done that. I like Frankie but like many on here I agree the future doesn't look good for him.
I doubt it's yes men, to be fair. It's Frankie himself that just won't do anything to fix his career.
