I have it 3-2 Edgar, the 2nd (due to the beautiful upkick) and 4th to Bendo, 5th a toss-up, I gave it to Edgar anyway due to him clipping Bendo and dropping him. Overall, it's like what you prefer, quantity or quality. Could've gone either way.
thats a fantastic comparison people dont appreciate Edgar enough cause hes not explosive. The dude handed BJ his ass twice
If it went to Edgar someone needed to get shot. One fighter, completely unharmed, and the other looking like a train hit him. The only edge Edgar had was takedowns but they didn't produce anything and a lot of the time Bendo was allowing them. They had zero impact on the fight, not when Bendo is breaking this guys face up and almost KOing him, and threatening him with subs.
Facial damage doesn't always translate to who actually won the fight. And the point is, takedowns is takedowns, even if allowed or not. So it made sense and made valid argument that Edgar can be given rounds as well.
henderson won that fight ... 4 out of 5 rounds...... no doubt edger is tough.... but he didnt win that fight.....
your just an edgar fan im guesing, so u only look at the stuff frankie does. Sp u dont see anything the benson does. Benson won the fight. And it shouldnt matter if it was a title fight or not mizugaki was robbed far more than edgar.
Got sick Thursday, headaches like a mofo since. Haven't had a toke in days.. Sucks when you got time on your hands, but have to rest instead of smoking joints :!:
Well, one fighter looked hurt, the other looked like he was having a party. There was a threat for a KO or SUB and it was generated always by Bendo. You can tell just by body language who was winning and who was losing. All of the damage was inflicted on one fighter -- Edgar. Edgar was grabbing his leg and taking him down at will almost but it had zero impact on the fight so it wasn't effective or allowing him to gain an edge. I did give Edgar 2 rounds.
I had it 3-2 Edgar and I based it on connects and TDs. But then again, Hendo did more damage that's mostly due to the fact that He's just much bigger and stronger. Also that upkick was kinda the turning point of the fight.
