the tactics for taylor i would expect is to show froch lots of movement and jab in and out fast and tie froch up to test froch's inside game to stop froch loading up, lets be honest we yet to find out how good froch is on the inside taylor will exploit this. JT wasn't overshadowed by BHOp inside and froch is noway on par with BHOP on the inside.

agree that JT cannot stand off as i posted above i expect JT to jab jab and then tie froch up. JT has again a great jab and i expect him to outthink froch and neutralise frochs any jab he was thinking of throwing, simply due to his experience.

again JT will not stand off to long in straight lines he will move unsettling a puncher from loading up, by moving to his weaker side so much power from frochs power shot is harder to deliver -Oz knows this/JT and they will not let froch any time to settle and get his footwork together to hit those power shots.

taylor may make mistakes but is froch good enough to take them? taylor can punch too remember (SMW unproven i know) froch has been accurate but again who has he faught???? even me and you be accurate against the last guy he faught!:patsch and some of the other bums he faught.

the chin question is a red herring as froch hasn't been tested either and to be fair possibly due to frochs size he may have the stronger chin.

It is difficult to really analyze this because Froch remains to be tested at this level. Maybe he KOs Taylor or maybe Taylor wins or.. Difficult to know because noone can be sure how Froch will raise his game to the opposition.

Froch has never been in there with someone 1/50th as talented as Taylor...this is a MAJOR setup for him.

Taylor wins a comfortable UD if this happens.

    1/50th ?

That's a little over the top though.

Reid was done but if you talk about talent, a prime Reid could possibly beat a prime Taylor.

If Froch beats my man Jermain up, he's real good. He stops Jermain, he can stop anyone. You picking Froch to stop Calzaghe too, right? I cannot see it, feller. I'm picking my man to teach that feller Froch a lesson!

I doubt Taylor will fight any sort of inside game. The difference is, Hopkins forced him to, I don't get the impression he likes to fight this way unless he has no choice

All that movement you anticipate is really going to test Taylor's questionable stamina. If he fights this way, it adds more fuel to my theory that he'll make more obvious defensive mistakes as the fight goes on, and Froch retains his power and accuracy throughout the whole fight

I doubt Taylor will hurt Froch too much, but we'll see. I don't see Taylor as a puncher, he didn't get JMW's out of there, I can't see him really unsettling Froch who never seemed to blink from a huge Robin Reid windmill shot. Whereas the other way round, I get back to Taylor's chin. Pavlik was the biggest puncher he faced, and he's not a one punch KO artist, yet he had Taylor's legs all over the place from just a couple right hands. I don't see him taking a Froch uppercut looking at that evidence

I think Taylor WILL make mistakes, he's error prone, and Froch is good enough to take advantage. I don't really care who he's fought, if we analysed fights exclusively on who people fought we'd pick the winner 100%. Froch will be the underdog for these reasons, but I'm happy to pick him from what I've seen

He'll be down on the cards when he starches Taylor with an uppercut.

If Froch wins Pavlik's resume will sadly start to seem watered down.

i rest my case, if you are not looking at past fights and opponents and you can clearly say froch will win oh my god... i moving on to another thread.

Well, I shouldn't say I don't care, because its easier to look good against **** opponents. But at the same time its not my biggest consideration. Styles are the main worry, and Froch has the style to knock him out even if he gets outboxed.

Yeah, that feller would probably pick any bum beater to beat the best because "he sure hits hard and has a darned fine chin!". If only it were that simple!

You could always respond to my analysis of the fight, rather than chiming in like a smart ****

Taylor UD. Dont think Froch has all the tools to be honest. Looks pretty good against bums. Think JT would school him though. Then I see Kessler beating JT
