Episode 1

Quite a nice watch. You get to appreciate Freddie as a person as a personality as opposed to the image media creates of him. We see that Freddie is very close to his mother and girlfriend. We learn that Amir forgets 70% of what Freddie tells him during the training camp on fight night lol. For all the Manny lovers he makes a brief appearance towards the end. Kalleb should watch this vid cos it has his fav boxer Zab in for a couple of mins. Editing, Freddies narration, background score is all top notch.

Towards the end of the first episode I think everyone with a heart will appreciate Freddie as a person abit more if not as a trainer who was blessed with fighters who already were talented b4 they met Roach.

Episode 2 should be fun; synopsis is written in post #1.

Some parts felt like you're watching paint dry, but overall this cinema verite style is alright.

 

Khan........................Khan would knock Peterson out, but Peterson will give up the WBA title rather than fight a rematch. Peterson is a liar and a coward.

 

Really? Lamont Peterson, who was homeless and took care of his younger brother, bouncing from shelter to shelter to bus stations. Putting in the hard work and becoming a great fighter and fighting anyone he could and always giving his all? Yea, he's a coward.

 

Roach is an inspiration.

i prefer this to 24/7 which has become too over edited and over produced. this is raw and real. should mayweather and pac come off- i hope they do this series in tandem- its so much more interesting seeing them natural and in their day to day, training , how they talk to each other. rather than always shadowboxing as the sun goes down over mountains and crap. great show. you get so much more a sense of being there and of who they are.
