People just don't learn, but i'm sure that won't be Roach's plan going into the fight.

That is Pac's best strategy to try to outwork him and win a decision. But he aint KOing PBF in a million years and should not focus on that.

For some reason I thought Pac didnt look as fast in the Cotto fight as he used to. PBF's reflexes and upperbody/head movement are very sharp, I think he can slip most of Pac's flurries.

PBF does have to get Pac to respect his power. I hope his hands are good, he wore Reyes gloves for the DLH fight and I think he should for the Pac fight as well.

Manny comes barging in head first when he flurries and PBF will be able to counter him and that should get him to drop his output a bit. Usually pac gets away with it cause he has a huge speed advantage but PBF will catch him.

I have to say I was worried about PBF's output being too low and loosing rounds to Pac but I checked the stats for the JMM fight and he threw almost 500 punches, higher than I thought it would be.

Marquez slow? uhh no. YOu dont land the punches Marquez landed on FLoyd being slow. DOnt know where that notion came from from *******s that he was slow in that fight. If he looked slow, its cuz mayweather made him look slow.

Compared to Manny, he ain't. And how many punches did Marquez land on Floyd's chin. Like 3?:D And total number of punches landed?

They can plan all they want, Floyd will still land at will, while Pac will not hit ****.

I agree that the chances of PAC stopping Floyd are low because Mayweather just doesn't get hit often enough. I do however think he can outwork Floyd and get a decision. Floyd looks to counter and rarely, at least in the earlier stages of a fight, initiates the action. If Manny can jump in and out with flurries he can win the earlier rounds. I actually had Oscar ahead at one point in their fight because Oscar was just plain outworking Floyd. Only towards the end when Oscar completely went away from the jab did Floyd really take the fight over. If Manny can put enough rounds in the bank he can force Floyd to open up and be the aggressor, or at he very least abandon his defense first style.

Another thing that people are not mentioning is that Manny is a south paw and Floyd fights south paws different then he fights conventional fighters. He has much more trouble with them, plus Manny is a south paw who can match Floyd's hand speed.

That being said I don't think the fight will happen.

And thats about the most numbers of punches landed on Floyds chin in 5 years. Although Pac is faster. But quez is far from slow.

I think they shouldnt even think Knockout cause if they look for it. It isn not gonna happen, there best bet is to outwork Mayweather make him give the fight away to Manny.
Also forgot about comparing how Oscar almost beat him,Oscar and Manny are 2 opposites Oscar has a great jab(should have used it all night) and is rangey,he can Box with Floyd. Manny would not be able to outbox Floyd. If the KO comes it comes Just do your thing Manny. I know that Roach knows this hes also trying to get into Mayweathers head already,by saying Mayweathers Fragile. Well it does run in the family(chinny unclesand dad) but so far Floyd has never shown that hes fragile the few times he has been caught clean he took the shots Ok.

JMM has always been a counter puncher. He's not a volume puncher and will not be the same with pac. I'd still favor a Floyd win, but Pac got a chance.

I was cheering for Oscar, but I too saw it clearly Floyd's.

nah it will happen. Its likely not until May so there is plenty of time to haggle over the details. Arum and Floyds guy are already meeting now to negotiate.

Remember the rumors on Hatton/Pac? It was on again off again ect for a long time but it eventually got made. If roach is already talking 50/50 I think they will both be trying 60/40 55/45 until it eventually gets 50/50

Oscars going away from the jab is a myth. And not like it matters, PAc doesnt have a jab anyway,
Not really. He crushed Corley, Judah and Mitchell. Although Corley and Judah got off big bombs on him. But that was more about Floyd coming forward instead of fighting a safe fight.
