I've pinched this from the GF -

1.Manny Pacquiao – Who else? I have been preaching this for the last three years.

2.Floyd Mayweather Jr. – He gave us the title but he should be the second best. The Marquez fight will dictate whether he stays there or not.

3.Juan Manuel Marquez – What can I say? One tough hombre and will hold his own against Mayweather.

4.Edwin Valerio – Some will question this pick but he has something like 25 victories by Kayo without a loss.

5.Shane Mosley – His big victory over Margarito moves him up the list.

6.Arthur Abraham – A really tough puncher with quick hands and a concrete chin.

7.Mikkel Kessler – Only loss to former pound for pound champ, Joe Calzaghe. He should wind up fighting Abraham for the Super Middleweight title.

8.Andre Ward – Great boxing skills and looked very impressive against Edison Miranda.

    9. Vasquez – You got to love his heart. Truly a champion as he proved in his fights against Marquez.

    10. Amir Khan – I know that some will question Amir on the top ten list. Trust me, he is the real deal!

    Agree?

Instead of writing the list off I would prefer to concentrate on why he would put some of those names ON the list. It's somebody's mythical list.

Obviously Khan is only on there because he expects big things from his charge so we can ignore that one.

Very interesting that he puts Kessler, Ward and Abraham on the list at all. TBH I've never seen Ward but the SSS should tell us more about him. Is he potentially that good?

Arthur Abraham?!?!?!!?! Amir Khan?!?!??! Valero?!? That's just ****ing stupid.

As I said on the other thread: what happened to Donaire, Marquez, Cotto, Calderon etc.

It's based on what he thinks the fighters could do and not on what they have done.

Quite surprised to see Valero (and Khan, come to mention it) ranked above the likes of Cotto, Hopkins, Calderon, etc. However if it's based on potential, as some seem to think it may be then Gamboa, Rigondeaux, Lara, etc would be above the likes of Khan and Valero anyway.

7.Mikkel Kessler – Only loss to former pound for pound champ, Joe Calzaghe.

Does he think Calzaghe was P4P no 1 in front of PBF or Pac?

Roach said he's turn Khan into a P4P fighter. Little do we know, he was talking about his own list!
