lenny had no head movement, I feel sorry for the kid. He needs a big break and come back next year at 140 and have a year at the pacific level of opposition.

I agree with the majority little head movement & rushing in far too often by Zappa.
Take some time off & have a couple easier regional fights & reassess after this.
Perhaps build to a Katsidis showdown from there anyone????

Great upset win for Diaz, but will still favour IBF Champ Miguel Vazquez heavily against him.

doesn't matter what his record was. he allowed himself to be a punching bag.

he had the goods to win the fight, just didn't show his opponent enough RESPECT.

    agree
too many of our blokes fight hacks and get 23-0 records and the first time they step up, the rise in class is blatently obvious

Impressed with Diaz, very good boxer. Looked a class above Lenny.

Good win to Caparello, he's improving every fight.

Thats his style imo m8, i do prefer it as apposed to Billy Dib i fight safe style. Zappa could have won that easy just by boxing but he turned it into a fight and got caught, i dnt think he has ever been hit by that, his guard wasnt tight and he copped that over hand right, he tightens up and starts looking much better only to relax again and cop some more. Its carelessness because he hasnt been fighting top brass. I give him props for trying, atleast he didnt fight like a cat as Dib did and atleast he fought someone genuine to get an IBF title shot.

Kid needs a break and he needs to be brought up slowly, not given bums then put straight up to the elite level. Thats why these guys always come up short, Hussein Brothers, Nader Hamdan, Billy Dibb , the list goes on. All be it Dibb got lucky with that vacant title fight but they are all trying or have tried to do the same thing, they want to take the easy route and wont do the hard work thats needed to become an elite.
