Great and entertaining fight. That was def not the pascal that showed(or didn't show) for omar pittman. That pascal showed up to win a world title
in another man's country. Full praise to both who threw caution to the wind for the sake of the fan. Froch has the ability to be a star in the world of boxing. He is mean streaked and is a natural born fighter no doubt! Part of his appeal is his leaky defense which can be corrected by simply holding up the right hand while moving out at an angle. Something he did several times in the fight w/ ease. His jab is hard, but his right from outside wears bells on it. His dangerous punches come from in the pocket, and he loves a tear-up and has great punch resustance. On his potential fight w/ taylor. Carl will HAVE to fight a virtuoso well disciplined fight. He needs to adhere to EVERYTHING his very smart trainer tells him. Carl showed alot of flaws in that fight, but also showed room for improvement.
He's won a world title, but if he wants to excel to the next level of the sport on the world stage then he'll have to elevate his game. If he can make subtle habit changes and work a more disciplined offense he'll outlast taylor. Carl is a more natural warrior than is taylor, but jermain is the better boxer of the two. Carl has a better chin, punch, and has more heart. Taylor is faster, and has better skills than froch. This fight is a real toss-up and HBO should pony up for this fight because it is one of the best fights that could happen in an entire weight class with international flare to boot.
