Maybe Groves should fight Ward and take his titles instead. Froch is obviously a talentless coward who is so desperate he's got no credibility whatsoever according to everyone now anyway. What's the point in fighting him if he's so crap and unskilled. Groves is the new king in everyone's eyes so why not take on Ward himself? Groves v Froch II would obviously be a mismatch eh?

    Why the sarcasm?

My stance has been consistant. Froch was losing the fight but was still being competitive, Groves had been hurt but was still fighting back, and the referee jumped in too early bring the fight to a controversial end robbing both men of the opportunities they deserved - for Grove the chance to prove his ability to weather the storm and see the fight out and for Froch the chance to finish off Groves properly if indeed he was capable of it - and that the controversy of the fight demands a rematch, and Froch will only regain the respect he's lost because of his attitude by beating Groves' properly.

I have said nothing of Froch/Groves 2 being a mismatch, nor have I said anything about Froch's abilities or talent, nor have I ever called him a coward. All I have said is that he should fight the rematch with Groves and telling people to "get over it" - as bowerboy did - as if the stoppage wasn't awful and doesn't short-change both fighters, the fans and boxing in general is a ridiculous assertion which no decent fan of the sport should ever condone.

Just seems like now everyone thinks Froch has become a bum. We all knew he was quite agricultural, but his toughness and conviction to throw saw him through fights. Just because he might be less skilled, it doesn't matter as long as he gets the win.

He's always been an acquired taste. The fans didn't take to his words and style from the beginning. Then he picked up a core cult following in obscurity. Then all the casuals started loving him from Sky. Now the casuals have gone against him again, so it's come full circle.

I'm quite sure a deal won't be done for Froch's next fight until the new year, so everyone should pipe down about him being a coward.

Groves is apparently 10 times better than Froch now, so, if Froch already fought Ward, then Groves should go for it if he's so much better than Froch in everyone's eyes.

It doesn't matter that he was losing the fight, if it ended "unfinished", as most people think. It's also highly ridiculous for people to say he lost to Johnson or Kessler II. Fair enough, Dirrell could have gone either way. It's also narrow minded to belittle his Taylor win. Froch didn't just lose all the rounds before the final round KO. He was only 1 or 2 points behind going into the last round and got the knockdown and stoppage in the end.

Chavez is more legible then Kessler III I think. Still think it would be a good win, that's why Ward wants it. Both Chavez and Froch had questionable wins recently. More even fight then Ward v Chavez too.

I don't even like watching Chavez fight. It's sad that so many people do or we could have been rid of his dumb ass long ago. Froch definitely woudn't stop him and it would be a boring fight.

This is the nearest to what I think.Couldnt fail to be a good fight.Im as sorry for Groves as anybody who doesn't know him.He was the better man and was robbed. But Froch won.He doesn't have to fight George next and is not a coward for not doing so.Im sure he will in due course if he doesn't retire first.Hes 36.But if theres more money,or as much,I couldn't fault a Chavez fight. And Im sure of one thing,Carl won't just blow him away.

A bit overly reductive, at least regarding Froch.

Froch does everything better. (although he is no master technician - but he may as well be Ward for how far apart he is from Chavez)
