Froch does not need a fight in Vegas to secure his legacy

    If Froch & Ward fought to a draw, then Froch's resume would **** all over Ward's. Ward is basically irrelevant for the SMW & LWH and has been for the last soon 3 years, it's not Froch's fault that he has problems with his promoter and the fact that Ward is too scared of traveling.

    Froch is in the final stages of a good career and is looking to tick all the boxes and make as much cash as he can before he retires.

    A big fight in Las Vegas would be a memory he can cherish long after he has retired and the US PPV money from a proposed Chavez fight would ensure a happy retirement.

    Does it do much for his legacy? Not really but he still nonetheless wants it. If he was all about legacy now he'd be chasing Ward but with Ward tied up in legal problems it's pointless in entertaining the idea of a rematch when we don't know when Ward will be available to fight again.
