So assuming Joe Calzaghe moves up to light-heavy as expected, will this fight be for the wbc super-middle weight title ??? .. Or will the winner only be declared an interim champion ??? :think

I like the way everybody is planning out Kessler's career. He's just lost a massive fight against JC and people are suggesting we use him as some sort of gatekeeper for the number one spot. If I were Kessler's management I'd find him something a little more 'given' first.

I don't think it is. However, if Inkin fights that fights and loses, he might lose his place in the eliminator. To be honest, I think Inkin will only fight that fight as a stay busy fight, if at all. Depending on the date set for the eliminator, he might decide not to fight that fight at all, and prepare for the main course. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Kessler has been to inactive full stop in the last three years he needs maybe a gimme to get the Calzaghe fight out of his system, but it was a good performance he didnt get ****ed up in there, i t was a hard close fight. Maybe Bika next followed by Froch/Irkin or Bute would be my plan for the guy.

Froch could do with a few more rounds under his belt, something I think Reid was supposed going to provide.

2 undefeated fighters with a combined record of 53-0 (42 KOs!) going head to head...............the super middleweight division is certainly coming up with the goods :thumbsup

It will be interesting to see how Froch - Inkin compares to Calzaghe - Kessler in terms of quality and excitement; and interesting to see if this fight is snubbed by the Americans.

My guess is that Froch will be over eager to impress, get caught but eventually stop Inkin late in a very good fight.

Presumably Hennessy will pay Inkin to come over to Nottingham...he believes Froch is no 1. in the world and wants to hype a possible Joe fight, even if it is just to sell more tickets for the Inkin fight to fans who would expect Joe to take on Froch next...makes sense.

this is a great one. The winner is arguably above Bute and Mundine and take 3rd place in the division .

    Good fight.

If Calzaghe steps up it is also very likely, that Brahmer fights Pascal in another huge fight for the WBO-title.
Dammit, even witout JC the Supermiddleweight is a hell of a division.

With Kessler, Froch, Bute, Mundine, Brahmer, Pascal and Inkin there are seven young world class boxer reaching their prime in that division and no one older than 30 years exc. Mundine (32).

And below them a really quality base with guys like Bika, Miranda, Tsypko, Lacy, Green etc.
