Thats a well thought out comment and by judging by your avatar its comes from someone who rates joe c higher than b hop, enough said i think.

Froch would have a puncher's chance. At Hopkins advanced age, his punch resistance could very well diminish over night and I wouldn't dismiss Froch's ability to land something big because of his awkwardness. That being said, I would fully expect B-Hop to outclass Froch in a one sided 12 round schooling. Froch is very open and doesn't have the best footwork. I would view him as easy pickings for the masterful Hopkins.

No thought involved my friend,i just say it as i see it.As for your remarks about Mr Calzaghe nothing could be further from the truth.I was always one of Joes biggest critics, but i predicted he'd outwork and out punch BHop.For the zillionth time,my avatar is a snipe at Nards racist comments prior to the Calzaghe fight. If a feather fosted slapper could win 10 of 12 against BHop,im sure Froch would have more than half a chance.:good

I think too many peoples are making a terrible mistake by comparing this fight with the Pavlik-Hopkins fight. The fight was at 170 pounds and Hopkins was too strong physically for Pavlik. That won't be the case against the SMW Froch. I would favor Hopkins but not by far.

I think froch has a decent chance depending on what bhop shows up....he is bigger and a bit more skilled than KP ...he has heart stamina and ok skills...this would be a good fight...not to mention I am not sold that was the best KP in the ring that night...bhop lost to taylor twice

you had Calzaghe winning 10 rounds against Hopkins? i don't think anybody here should be asking you about anything related to boxing... last time you said andre ward fights like an amateur.

also b-hop isn't a racist. "i would never lose to a white boy" goddamn, he said "white boy"... jesus christ cry me a river

I guess Hopkins will have to "ruin" another fighter and take their soul and "0". My God, haven't these fighters learned their lesson?

The same Taylor that has ZERO defense and goes straight backwards and covers up anytime his attacked? The same Taylor that has no footwork whatsoever to sidestep or turn a guy?

Yawn,Ward does fight like an amateur,do some research and you'll find i was one of thousands who said Ward was amateurish in style, and yes i had Calzaghe winning just about everything in the Hopkins fight.Calzaghe was the agressor,he threw and landed more punches, and he came to fight.Nard tried to win yet again by doing just enough, you cannot expect to win rounds by trying to hold and spoil and then fighting for 15 seconds of each round!!!

As for the "racist" comments, please show me where i said Nard was a racist ? Nard was doing what he does best in promoting fights,he tried to add some controversy and nastiness to sell seats and ppv.The "white boy" comment was a step too far IMO,had a white guy made a similar comment his career would have been finished.

I've been involved in the sport for over 30 years, please dont be so condascending my friend,i've probably forgotten more about this sport than your ever likely to know.:good

People are making the assumption that this is an easy pay check for Nard, and im guessing a percentage are doing so based purely on the Pavlik fight.Froch isn't Pavlik,he's bigger, stronger,he will not lose heart if he's behind as Pavlik did,and wont come at Nard in straight lines.Add the fact that both Froch and Nard are at there best when countering there opponents and all of a sudden the Nard V Pavlik fight means jack ****.I think it would be hard for Froch to beat Hopkins unless he managed to land some big shots and/or get Hopkins to come at him.If Froch go's looking for Nard he'll be open to counters and Nard will probs just hold and spoil then throw a few eye catching counters at the end of each round. If Froch has to chase Nard it'll be a more exciting fight, but if he stands off Nard and makes him come forward i think it gives Froch a better chance at winning. Those who are predicting a one sided battering for Froch are deluded,Nard wouldn't stop Froch at any weight let alone 168 if thats the fight weight.Hopkins rocked Pavlik many times but never looked like stopping him,he did no more than stun him and make him lose heart, this wont happen against Froch.

Froch is not stronger then Pavlik. Atleast when it comes to one punch power. Also he has the most ludicrous boxing posture ever for a fighter of his caliber. He blocks punches with his face. Keeps his left hand low like he actually has some credible speed.

And no, Froch is not a counter puncher. I dont know where you got that ludicrous idea from. Atleast someone with any real ability at landing a decent counter on a good opponent.

Hopkins wins this going away. And if he had a mind to, because Froch doesnt have the one punch KO power of a Pavlik, he could sit down on his punches and get Froch out of there.
