Any boxer that can win a world title in the ametuers is a good "boxer" the boxing your referring to "to hit without getting hit" is a style within boxing. Some boxers actually prefer to be open and encourage the opposition to hit them in order to land on them. I suppose when Golovkin knocked down Geale after taking a shot you sat there shaling your head thinkin what a poor boxer he is ?!
No I thought geale has taken a dive to be honest
what has he got to gain ? Chavez would've been ideal but options now De gale - awkward southpaw who'd he MAY beat but would terrible doing so. Ward - would beat him every day of week and twice on Sunday. GGG - brutal KO loss Retire champ !!
No I thought geale has taken a dive to be honest
Hmmm ok so i ask if you thought GGG was a good boxer or not based on the geale punch were he takes one to give one and your answer is. "Geale took a dive" no sense at all try asnwering the question? Thats the equivalent of me asking how do you like your eggs in the morning .... and you answering "i dont like Bacon" If you need me to break down the question maybe have some read it to you so u understand let me know
Go back and read what you've said about the fight, on this and other threads. You are implying that Froch was getting scorched, and got out of jail with the KO. Look how many people are picking holes in your posts, why is that ?
His last 4 fights have included 3 mandatories and a win against a shot to pieces Kessler. Warrior my ****ing ****.
No I clearly said he took a terrible beating in the first fight and the second was very close until that punch! true or not?
People forget that groves also took sone heavy shots in the first fight. Did you see his face at the end of the fight it was a mess. Your right GG landed numerous heavy shots and was wining the fight. But froch was also landing some great shots and came back with style. He doesn't get no credit for this which is silly
He had to give him a rematch no question, do you think he really wanted too? froch knows deep down he got lucky in the first fight and the second was very close until that point
as i read through your post i was thinking to myself that it was very good and you were speaking absolute sense and then you go and ruin the whole lot by the last statement!! froch vs ggg is a very good match up, interesting but what is it that you have seen in froch that makes you think he can starch ggg?? i know he ko'd george groves with a peach but he isnt really a massive ko puncher but he more wears you down and ggg has a solid chin, never been down or in any real trouble in his career but carl was in big trouble in the 1st groves fight. imo if anyone was to get starched it might well be froch but that depends on how ggg carries his punch power in the higher division!! would love to see the fight happen but i personally think froch might retire while hes on top and i dont blame him for doing so.
The 5 inch reach advantage would be a concern if I was in the Golovkin corner as would would that recently developed habit of marching forward in straight lines allied to the reduction of head movement. The GGG of 12 mths ago would have troubled big nose more than the current incarnation will (should they ever meet).
maybe you misread, but i said "ability level" Now Froch is technically sloppy, his defence is poor, he doesn't have good reflex, he's not fast, his power is good but not great, so what Im saying is that given that he's not great at anything, to have a great career, is way above his level of ability, and kudos. He wouldn't beat Ward, NO WAY he starches GGG, and I wouldn't know which way to go DeGale or Froch, but i wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if DeGale beat him comfortably.
He retired ages ago just won't make it official because his Ego won't let him still wants people to think he is a warrior willing to fight Golovkin i bet he never even entertained the idea once
