Kessler is still No.1 but the others are beginning to close the gap :)

It was a letdown to see the way people **** on Froch after the Taylor fight. He has my sincere respect. He's done well.

Froch did well. Is a great fighter with a ton of heart and extremely strogn and determined, I see noone (or very few shitting on him).

If people react if people praise him higher than what he can carry at this point in time is not shitting on him. It is just being realistic.

Personally, I think Kessler has top 10 and probably top 5 p4p skills. Therefore, the fact that I and the vast majority do not see Froch as no. 1 does not equal shitting on him.

THere's merit to this appraisal of 168, as Kessler has done nothing since losing to Calzaghe (except find a way to make a fight with Miranda not happen) and Bute has a cloud over him until he cleans up the Andrade mess. Tough to say, but in a "what have you done for me lately" way, there is certainly a case for Froch being #1 at 168. It would be much more clear-cut if Froch had looked better before KOing Taylor.

Froch's position in the rankings can be argued all day and night, but stripped to bare bones is just another average fighter who will get beaten pretty soon

It makes sense to me, although he should have specifically stated the performance was better.

Another example: Can anyone honestly say that Hopkins losing effort against RJJ wasn't one of the best performances of his career, and was it not better than any performance Kessler has put up?
