Froch-Kessler 1 revisited

    At the time i thought Froch edged it.

    Watched it again two days later and gave it to Kessler.

    Froch could have and should have bossed the fight, but he spent too much time throwing single shots and posturing, whilst Kessler kept throwing shots and coming forward.

    Easy to make a case for either fighter edging it, but Froch gave the fight away imo.

    It was the best fight in the Super Six, and I had no doubt at the time that Kessler edged it, 115-113. On a second viewing, I forget the exact rounds, but I could see an argument for Froch deserving a draw.

    Haven't watched the fight in awhile, but I intend to stick with my initial impression, and I remember not being surprised in the least when Kessler was awarded the victory.
