Agreed. Froch showed true grit in there to be beat a better skilled fighter.

I do worry about guys who take as many hard head shots though.

I don't think Taylor is a great finisher but I don't think Froch was too hurt, more of a flash knock down. When he was down his head looked clear and when he got up his legs were under him.

Froch proved to me that he was who I thought he was, a low class club fighter, whose power was overated and chin sturdy but breakable.

It proves to me that Taylor is finished and either needs to move down to MW or retire.

But it is winning dramatically, and if Froch is going to become a name in America he not only has to beat other names like Taylor, but do it in exciting fashion.

Froch is now a name(albeit not a major one yet) in American boxing.

And you've proved to everyone here that you're a low-class bitter cocksucker.

I give credit Froch won, but due to Taylor's incompetance not to anything special from Froch. IF Froch fights Ward, Dirrel, Green, or Bute he will lose handily.

Fair enough. Taking on an accepted word class operator, in his own country, for your first defence, and as your first really 'live' opponent, getting off the floor and knocking him out isn't winning in style.

If that's your opinion, you're welcome to it.

I paid for the stream and got to see the interviews at the end and Froch said excellent fight, felt he was winning and his jab was working well, said JT was an excellent fighter and surprisingly called out Joe Calzaghe. JT said Carl is a good fighter who just stuck in there and kept coming until the end.

He said he didn't feel he had stamina issues was more of the fact that he didn't put Carl away and Carl just got stronger as the fight went on. Said he would love a rematch and Carl said he would give him one.

The interviewer (an idiot) kept trying to make a deal out of the stoppage but both fighters and the ref pretty much said the stoppage was right... the interviewer really pissed me off!!!

What have Ward, Dirrell, and Green done to make you think they would dominate Froch? And no, you are not giving Froch any credit for the win, you are doing the opposite in fact.

Yeah, Taylor finds a way to blow another one. At least he didn't disgrace himself in process. I am sure everybody will agree that a rematch is in order.

Yes I am giving him credit for the fight, he won the fight, the reason is because Jermaine Taylor can not fight 12 rounds. He got tired after outclassing Froch and then was KO'd in the last round because he would not hold.

Ward, Dirrell, Green, and Bute could all outbox Froch like Taylor did the first 6 rounds except they could do it for 12 rounds, and if they hurt him they would make the ref stop the fight because they would swarm his ass.
