im a purist so you can see hwere i stand in terms of his style but he does get the job done

i disagree he can be beat in other ways i think a skillful counter puncher/ ring general ala Hopkins, Kessler could beat him but if you fight him its tough

It was one of the finest performances from a British fighter for many a year ... JT was up for the fight and looked liked the JT of old at times but Froch has bollox thats for sure - he stuck in there slowly got into the pace of the fight and netted the winner in the last minute .... and credit to his trainer MCracken called it right ! amazing amazing win !

This fight told nothing that I didn't already know about Froch. He has tremendous heart and an incredible will to win but is severly lacking in the skills department. It was a fantastic win and he deserves praise but he looked very beatable.

It also now appears that his chin isn't granite like we originally thought. Taylor is not exactly a huge puncher but he hurt Froch badly countless times. As for Joe Calzaghe, Froch shouldn't touch this one with a barge pole. It's a general consensus that Calzaghe would widely outpoint him but on Saturday night's evidence I now think there is a fair chance that Joe would knock him out. If Froch is hurt that badly by a natural middleweight it's only logical that he would be hurt even more by a naturally bigger man like Calzaghe. Joe is not a huge puncher but neither is Taylor, no knock outs in 4 years with the vast majority of those fights taking place at middleweight. Froch needs to get better defence and quick otherwise I fear it's gonna be lights out next time.

I think Froch is at the pinnacle of his career, and won't go much further. I thought he got outclassed for the most part, the first half of the fight was a schooling but he showed plenty of guts and determination when it mattered the most.

    Well done and great entertainment.

He stopped punching because he was tagged and hurt....sometimes your blind hate becomes very tedious

he was tired he has known stamina problems and his puch output dropped from round 4 on and he wasnt exactly taking bombs from the first 6 rounds
