I had Kessler winning by 2 or 3 rounds. I thought Froch lost the fight between rounds 6-8 when he took his foot off the gas after a great 5th. This allowed Kessler to get back into the fight. He was always going to have a job on his hands to win on points and I just think his average work rate in some of the close rounds, handed them to Kessler.

It was a good fight anyway. Kessler deserved it. Looking forward to Froch vs Abraham :good

i thought kessler won and although i didnt score i wouldnt have had it by a huge margin maybe a couple rounds. No one ever seems to score rounds even anymore either lol. Although i think that kessler won i think froch was right in that you may have seen a different result in nottingham. But then people would have moaned the other way. Im a bit disapointed although froch gave it all in the last couple rounds he could have pressured kessler far more in the earlier rounds, when he put kessler on the back foot he looked great. All credit to kessler though to preform like that coming off a loss! :good

 

I voted Froch by accident.

I had Kessler up 115-113.

I had Kessler 116-112. I think many were counting the knock down when it was obvious it was a trip.

yeah , i wanted froch to win and he definetely landed the few hardest shots of the fight , but he didnt do enough and Kessler won it !

 

I was heavily biased in favour of Froch and even I had it 1 maybe 2 rounds to Kessler. Alot of the rounds were very hard to score but it was Kessler that was coming forward, making the fight while Froch was trying unsuccessfully to fight on the back foot.

 

Froch made hiw work look more stylish, but Kessler was consistent. He kept jabbing and landing to the body. I think most people aren't giving Kessler's body work enough credit. I'm a fan of both - I had no agenda for forward. I thought Froch did a good job but lost fairly clearly in rounds.

 

Kessler 8-4 or 7-5, round 1 was the difference. Close but clear, the right guy got the nod and would/should have wherever the fight was.
