Not a fan of Froch But I respect his heart Hes willing to fight anyone and PROVE himself to us. Sadly there hasnt been a lot of fighters like that recently
so true, so true. But I think Bute would take the big fights he just hadn't had them lined up. That's why he jumped to showtime, he needs to fight Dirrell.
What do you mean he is not figted`? Maybe he is not Gifted with lighting speed but the rest.. he damn sure is gifted.
Why doesn't anyone ever ask Froch why he elected to by-pass an elimination fight with Bute in 2007 ? Bute's team were ready and willing to fight him for a right to get the IBF belt. Froch's team said thanks but no thanks, then Bute fought Bika to become the mandatory for the IBF belt which he won in October 2007. Because of that refusal, Froch had to wait for another complete year before getting a shot at a belt ( December 2008). People should ask him that very question !!! In regards to Bute, of course he needs to step up but that's exactly what he desperately wants also. You can rightfully argue that he could have fought a good Light Heavyweight during the Super 6 unfolding but you certainly can't hate him for not facing the other top 168lbs fighters. People should have always ridiculed SHOWTIME for not inviting Bute in the S6 instead of blaming Bute for not being in it.... He was available and wasn't under contract yet with HBO, but SHOWTIME & Sauerland had other plans and Bute wasn't part of them.....
I've learned to appreciate Carl Froch. I was finding the guy a loud mouth but at least, the guy is not ducking and he is taking risks. The guy have a lot of heart too but in reality, he was floored by Taylor that is not the biggest puncher and to me, lost the fight to Dirrell FAIR and SQUARE. The way Froch USUALLY fight ( and I'm not talking about the way he fought Abraham from the outside), he would not like his night with Lucian I guess....
And for Bute's career..anyone but please, not Dirrell! Seems strange to say but I really think that Dirrell is the hardest puzzle to solve for Bute!
At this point I must say too bad. It's seriously time to step up and it's no time to pick and choose....
So what? Bute has to face any of the top SMW. After he will, we may find that some were not so top, but that's only my opinion.
Froch is like the lunatic drunk in the pub pushing in to everybody squaring up to them, Come on i will take the ****in lot of ya. Hes not the best boxer in the division but hes a bit of a beast and he aint scared of anythin
