    I can imagine Froch, with his idiot brother, was exactly the kind of person that Calzaghe grew up hating and getting bullied by at school

    Froch excelled at range with the telegraphed right hand and a jab from the hip. Little to no inside game proved by the ward fight. Calzaghe closest the distance and punches his head off.

    I cant disagree with anything Froch said.

    Its amazing how overrated Calzaghe has become.

    No one ever talks about this but old man Hopkins exposed a basic flaw in Calzaghes style that would have been his kryptonite had it taken place 10 years earlier...hopkins shut out and floored Joe the first 6 rounds ...he made joe "s trademark 2 handed inside flurries totally ineffective by tying up one arm on the inside therefore nullfying the slapping flurries.

    Joe immediately retired .He knew he'd been exposed.

    Froch fought a far far higher calibre of fighter a far more diverse range of world class fighters than Calzaghe.And it was done on a one hard fight after the next diary.

    I felt Lacey was not of the ilk of Jermain Taylor or Andre Dirrell or Pascal.

    So thst leaves a Jones he beat who was totally shot and would be kayoed in 1 by Danny Green shortly after, and Kessler and Eubanks as his biggest wins

    Froch is greatly discredited due to the Ward loss.In fact for all his smarmy personality and loudmouth profile commentating for Sky which is a turn of he is fast becoming the most undervalued Brit....jezzus...the guy beats fighters in their absolute prime like Pascal,Bute,Taylor,Dirrel,Abraham,Johnson and Groves often taking unbeaten records....however much he struggled with Kessler and Groves he mastered them in the end.

    I think Ward would have shut out Joe too.

    The Glen Johnson,Froch beat was a bigger scalp than nice guy Woodhall.
