A 5 fight deal? He should have made it 3, to be honest, or 2, to see how it goes. 5 could be his last 5.

Would have preferred him going with Fwank, but oh well. Matchroom's good.

Why so he can fight twice a year in Newcastle and Liverpool against Peter Manfredo Jnr and Sakio Bika?

    I tend to agree.

I'm sure if he bucks his ideas up there'll be room for him at the negotiating table.

That's pretty thin for 26 cards - that ought to be 9 cards plus the PF series.

Warren has a good stable and needs to get them more active. Shutting him out in favour of Matchroom achieves nothing. So long as they abide by the quality control rules I'm all for increased competition.

Five does seem a few too many, but they'll only have minimal involvement in the next two and will want some security of sorts.

Warren would probably want more control over Froch than he'd normally be willing to give, and also has a big enough stable already with plenty coming through.

It doesn't really make sense to either party in my opinion.

Uh, no. To See if he's happy with what's going on, and then extend the deal, like Amir did with GoldenBoy.

If he wins the Super six, that makes him worth more, just as Khan is being given more in his new fight deal with GBP since he's kept winning.

When your at the level Froch is at you do not get a minimum & maximum deal which is what Warren would offer.

Matchroom won't see a penny from HBO/Showtime etc.

and i was questioning why you would want him with Warren?

Don't think froch cares about money like khan does. All he wants is the fight on sky in nottingham.

In all likelihood, Matchroom will have their work cut out when Froch loses to Ward so 5 fights is great for both.

I agree but my point is they dont need 150 fighters signed up to do 30 cards a year.

Im sure if Warren thought he could get Froch and Barker he would have. He does business the wrong way allot of the time. Do you see Hearn slagging of every fighter he doesnt have with him and moaning like a ***** if someone leaves?

Arthur Abraham will soften up Andre Ward, Ward wins a ud and Carl Froch tkos Ward in the 10th after a Dirrell style runathon from Ward

Uh, no. I'm pretty sure there would be an enhancement to any fighter's arse when they win something major. 5 seems like a bit too much, but we'll see.

Frank's more of a proven promoter (by far). Yes, Matchroom have got some nice fights put up previously for their fighters, but just by personal preference, I prefer him going to FW, but I don't really care, as long as he get's what he wants.

 Right. I'm sure Froch would fight for free in his next fight

I'm not sure he'd be all that fussed for Froch - he's in a pretty unique position as far as British fighters are concerned, in that he's more of a draw in the States and arguably Europe than he is over here (Nottingham excepted of course).

Barker perhaps, but he's pretty much in limbo at the minute despite being European champion.... it's not going to be easy to shift him.... Frank's got less advanced fighters in divisions that are easier to shift people, for me anyway.

Hearn isn't the type to slag people off I don't think, though because he's not been given the platform to do so we can't be sure :hey
