keeps being mentioned and who knows, something tells me he could come out of retirement, stranger things have happened, and what a fight that would be.’

I found it funny the other day when he was on Bunce's hour and said he sort of regrets the way he went about calling out Calzaghe a few years back. Then about a minute later he called him out again :patsch

It's all tongue in cheek really though.

In all seriousness though, what does Froch get out of fighting Calzaghe now? If he wins, he beat a retired faded and slower Calzaghe. If he loses........

A massive win to his name. Yeah sure, it will have likely been because Calzaghe was older and finished but 80% of the millions that would watch over here wouldn't be bothered too much and Froch would become huge.

It ain't gonna happen anyway. Calzaghe was worried enough about losing his unbeaten record in his last fight against Roy Jones. No way he comes back for a fight against anyone at the top of their game like Froch.

Anyway, Froch is going to get exposed by Ward... Andre will get all Olympic on Froch's ass.

Froch will have just had his ass handed to him by Son of God so he his stock won't be that high. He'll make some cash from it granted, but surely Pascal/Hopkins at 175 is better?

Not so much exposed as we already know he's not that great but easily beaten then.

He probably mentioned him because he is more well known to casual sky fans than Ward etc.

Well this thread is clearly pointless then because you're pretty obviously biased against Froch.
