Isn't it amazing how dangerous "complete garbage" can be? :huh

I think it's clear Froch doesn't fight in a straight-forward technical, orthodox way, but this doesn't necessarily mean you should belittle his talent.

Perhaps history has shown us his style of fighting - hands by your sides, poor defence - will eventually get found out at the highest level, but give the guy some respect for his achievements: he's a world champ, he went over to the states and beat a very good boxer, so far the lad's done good.

Good on him, calling him garbage is being very short-sighted.

Kelly is too straight up and down for Froch. If we see the same Kelly that fought Bernard fight Froch, it will be a battle of who has the best chin...except Kelly will get hit flush more.

I was honestly shocked when people said that this guy is actually an amateur champion, I don't know what tournament he won really but I'm dead sure it's nothing major and I won't even bother to browse because after what I saw tonight it's obvious this is something minor. At least Jermain is an Olympic Bronze Medalist.

Speaking of skills. What skills did you see from Froch in this fight that I'm missing?, I'd love to go deep in this discussion with you. What I saw tonight is this. Froch moving in with TYPICAL jabs with his right hand moving backwards therefore leaving his self open for either a counter hook or even a liver shot. Some of the other amateurish mistakes he made was how he blinked sometimes after throwing his own punch, clearly a sign that he has no counter to answer with if you know boxing well enough. There was no movement worth mentioning either, he was basically robotic at some point, even his stamina was poor as he was clearly out of gas from round 6, I assure you he was DONE WITH after the knockdown in the 3rd but Jermain just didn't bite in fear of getting tired and taken out his self, Pavlik style though I don't think Froch would have taken the punches Pavlik was able to take and come back from. The man was LITERALLY flat footed from round 5 onwards clearly a sign he's not full of energy either but kept making contact because Jermain was doing NOTHING, I'm sure you noticed whenever Jermain did jump on him even if it was for a few seconds Froch would be stunned and rocked, can't say the same for Froch only late in the 11th when it was CRYSTAL CLEAR Jermain was totally out of gas.

Let me tell you, in boxing you can have Muhammad Ali talent and abilities but if you don't have the stamina you will be eaten alive. Think McBride vs Tyson is a very very good example and a very popular one. Tyson's inability to keep the punches up in fear of running out of gas is what made McBride shine the way he did, it wasn't McBride's "skills" and I assure you I would point out skills when I see them and I saw NOTHING worth mentioning from Froch today, NOTHING.

When I saw Calzaghe fight Lacy I LITERALLY froze in my seat at how the man was fighting, moving, landing at will and HURTING Lacy as early as the very first round and so on. I also felt INSULTED that I haven't searched for more of this guy before meeting Lacy, as a boxing fan I would of course admit I felt insulted and ******ed for not looking more of his fights and I did that after the fight and admitted I was beyond stupid for picking Lacy over someone with such rare natural abilities and I also admitted it in every discussion I had regarding Calzaghe. Why wouldn't I do the same for Froch if I saw skills?, I would definitely jump and speak about his skills if he showed any, I'm a fan of a sport before being a fan of the fighters and him showing skills is good for a sport, sadly I saw NONE of that and I assure you a fight with Lacy will remind you of my words and you will see the mistakes Froch makes which I mentioned but with Kessler COUNTERING EVERY mistake unlike Taylor who was worried he would get tired so he backed off.

I don't know. JT got back in the ring and went 12 with Pavlik the next fight. Not sure why you think you have some special insight here. Just like Bush looking into Putin's eyes and seeing his soul? :patsch

I'm sorry, Scar, but I can't go into too much detail about stylistic advantage at this time without giving away too much knowledge.

I'm not going to risk putting that information out there so that just anybody can use it.

It's funny too, because people think that a person can only fight a certain way depending on their athletic ability, and while that's true in most cases, it's not true in the only case that matters....

BUT it requires a great amount of understand, practice, and especially work to achieve it....

But anyway, can you get someone in the Golden Gloves? Do you have that kind of authority?

Pavlik would knockout Froch ... so would Williams ... So would Bute ... So would Kessler .... Kessler needs to get his WBC title back ... or maybe its being on hold for Allan Green.

Oh and Scar, Froch is no where on the level of Calzaghe as far as skill is concerned. I agree with you on that point....

But Taylor is a very unskilled fighter......for one he squares up too much especially when he's most vulnerable....

Taylor will always be susceptible to a puncher with a chin.....

    But Taylor is tough....

froch might be wack... but he still beat jt... i aint tryign to hear it... we just have to wait and see what froch does against some B/A level comp

    nah but im saying...
    to put it in comparison

if you have seen or remember rocky 3... in rocky's first fight with clubber lang rocky got ****edup... then rocky trained with apollo and he started doing well but at some point they started sparring rocky was fighting but having flashes of his first fight with clubber lang and was just scared of getting knocked the **** out...

this is pretty much what happened in this fight.. taylor was getting hit with some heavy shots... and even tho they were getting blocked he was getting extremely wary and just became scared... i literally saw this in his eyes..

haha its not even like that..... i just dont have complete trust in pavlik's chin...i mean its boxing.. one fight can change anything... pavlik would be the favorite

I guess you consider it skillful to duck the question? Redirect only works on the simple minded with short attention spans. Try again.
