No offense but I don't think that was a good example. Oscar had 7 straight rounds in the bag and even if Tito won the last 4-5 rounds that's not enough rounds to grant him a victory on a fair scorecard. Oscar did fight negative in the last 4 rounds but by fair scoring he still should've won. I blame the corruption in boxing that Oscar lost and this is coming from a Tito fan. Good post. I'm not a fan of either and prefer Froch but he did even less than Dirrell believe it or not. I can probably count on my hands the amount of clean punches Froch landed. Dirrell frustrates me and I think he's mentally weak but for effectiveness I just thought he won. Funny that you can't use this logic on Calzaghe-Hopkins but lets just leave it at that lol.:good
Be quiet. When a severe injury happens, whether it's a broken hand, shoulder injury, bad cut or swelling, or whatever else you want to name, it changes fights. To compare what a fully fit Dirrell did, to Haye who broke his hand in the third, is ridiculous. You have have to be fair, which you aren't being. Had Haye not broke his hand and Dirrell had, I wouldn't be pro-Haye and anti-Dirrell. I'm sure you think otherwise though.
Don't tell me to be quiet you stupid little man. Your bias is exposed everytime you post. If Haye had fought differently in rounds 1 and 2 you might have a point but he didn't so you don't. Regardless of his supposed broken hand his tactics always were to hit and run. Now according to you running is not an acceptable way to win a title...unless the fighter doing the running is British of course.
The very fact you said it was a hometown decision implies that there was something underhand that went on. I mean look at the scorecards FFS. It's a blatant result fix in favour of the hometown boy.
Even though that video was heavily edited in favour of Dirrell, you could take ANY 30 second window from that fight from ANY round and you will see that Dirrell was clearly superior in terms of ability. Look at Frog's face after the result, he knows he got a home town decision.
Compubox doesn't do Showtime fights, and there were no official punch stats. Some tosser put up invented punch stats on Boxrec after the fight, but what they have listed is wrong.
Your statement is a little too hyperbolic for my taste... I had Dirrell winning by a round but I had no problem with Froch getting the decision. Close fight.
Anyone who says Froch won usually wont produce a scorecard. The last dumbass to do that was lufcrazy and he gave Froch a round where he landed 1 punch lol!
No they didnt you ****ing clown. The Ring had a huge spread after the fight on how Froch DIDNT win you ****ing idiot.
The Ring magazine journalist and The Boxing News journalist had Froch winning, and you know that for definate . Live with it
