No, HBO don't have UK broadcast rights for the fights they show...

Are you a real person? Or someone who works for Primetime?

I hope this is a success.

So do I need to order this channel & add it to my Sky package first? Or will it already be on my Sky box on October 8th, and then just having to order the PPV?

Order over the phone. It's cheaper to do it in advance than on the night iirc.

A ****ing dedicated PPV channel in the UK?

**** no will I be buying this. That stuff may be common in the states where they're silly enough to pay almost $100 dollars for a fight but over here in Europe that stuff isn't commonplace and I don't want it to be so will not be making this purchase!

I don't know of any 24/7 PPV channels. What are they?

I'm not sure what you mean by 24/7 PPV channels.

Dedicated. You said there were already dedicated PPV channels in the UK. All I know of were Sky channels that had PPV events.

No way will I support a dedicated PPV channel. i've proudly never bought a SKY PPV. Only by not purchasing farces like this will we get trid of them.

Mark my words, once stuff like this becomes commonplace the prices go up. look at America, near $100 PPV's...AND THEY PAY IT! Fools!!!!!!

So how is Sky Box Office not a 'dedicated PPV channel'? In the next ten minutes there is a choice of ten films I could pay to watch, plus a rerun of a WWE event, then there's a whole bunch of porn on later....

10 films, each for around half the price of a DVD you can own; forever. Also you don't get adverts throughout the films you buy....

If no one bought this stuff there's be box office FOR FREE through competition between Virgin/BT/Sky....same with PPV sports.

Remember when box office was 1st introduced? Remember how cheap movies were? Now they're up past £5!!!!! two years from now £8......3 years £10....

If you don't buy this crap ITV or ESPN or Eurosport will pick it up. ****, it should even have been on Sky Sports 2 for free!
