Froch v Groves in jeopardy?

    I know the rumour mill work's in mysterious ways, but a few people i know who're usually good with sources have said the fight is in jeopardy due to a purse dispute?

    Can anybody confirm this as true or a rumour?

    No chance, groves is still getting sparked out on Saturday. There is no way out for the Ginger one.

    No smoke without fire indeed.Always said Id believe it when both in the ring,one of those fights.Can we stand another,though?

    I have wasted the best part of 2 days on Boxing forums talking about this fight. it better not be cancelled. What a waste of time that would have been. I can't see it myself. WAR Froch!!!!:good

    I'm skeptical about it, as somebody said above i thought Purse Splits we're set in Mandatory fights, but with dodgy Hearn you never know

    Purse splits are decided when contracts are signed.

    Firstly, whoever made this story up knows FA about the game... and secondly the same goes for anybody buying it.

    Im the same shenmue,talking bollocks or not.Ive had my doubts since it was made.like the Haye fight.Said I would wait a while but I booked it on Tuesday.Anyway,surely the new age promoters can sort this.

    I remember Branco vs Robin Reid and Branco had some dispute in the changing room about money then the fight happened and Reid was just flat as a pancake. A awful display it was like Branco beat him before he stepped into ring..

    Pay dispute causing the fight to be off is rubbish. This rumour stems from the fact groves was caught at Gatwick trying to board a flight to the north pole around 45 minutes ago. Barry and Eddie caught him in the nick of time and they've tied him to a chair in his dressing room to prevent any further escape attempts. Tick tock.
