Truth hurts, rocky road ahead for Froch fans unless drastic improvements occur.

Nobody thinks Froch is a master class boxer, but bigging up Jones for winning that last fraud of a fight is a joke. Jones has done nothing, absolutely nothing of note for over 4 years at the weight bar get KTFO.

If you disliked Froch I'm sure you could tear his opponents to shreds...and you also have to consider Froch's age and Calzaghe's age after 25 fights...it's not quite as simple as that...Froch hasn't got the style or the time to do much else imo.

    Interesting analysis nonetheless...

What do you suggest? The Zaggy road to success.... two fights a year against bums and a couple of shot former champs...... Maybe when he's 36 he can fight Mayweather to prove his greatness.....

I'm not sure JC would KO Froch. But he'd certainly dance rings around him. Possibly a late stoppage but certainly a UD.

Really quickly coz I'm missing the game...

Calzaghe had beaten more world champs

To suggest a former world champion is not a worthy opponent is foolish, to suggest more than one is plain stupidity

His rationale could be used against Taylor, the only world champ Froch has faced

Froch was given a boxing lessen and stunned countless times by a guy who is hardly renowned for his speed or power

Calzaghe was an undisputed and two weight world champ with 21 defences, Froch has made only 1 defence and was 14 seconds away from defeat

Its not about liking and disliking.... its about fact and fiction... the guys I commented on were the best on Calzaghes CV.... Good domestic area level fighters- some of them.... Froch has being mixing at a whole different level... its undeniable.

When did I do that? I was asked a question so I answered it. I didn't dwell on it, it certainly was not his most impressive victory.

Yea why not, get it on, I'll watch anything. :D

I think Dawson is the biggest test out there though should Joe ever come out of retirement.

Why doesn't he give Eubank a rematch then..... or Alan Minter in a catchweight bout?
