Froch would clown Jr. Arum would have to totally give up on him to make that fight happen.

C'mon man, that's just about the same as saying that Micky Ward would have beaten Hatton.

Froch would keep him at bay with his long jab, similar to how he fought Abraham but unlike AA, I reckon Chavez would have his moments

This is probably Froch's next foe as HBO want him to face Chavez/Ward/Golovkin. 2014 is going to be a defining year for the Cobra.

Would be a good payday for Froch.

Wonder what weight Chavez would feel like coming in at? All Froch needs to do is stipulate a big £ overweight penalty and he could make enough to retire:lol:

Interesting fight in a way though. Chavez Jr ain't gonna be anything special without his big size advantage, but then Froch fights about the same weight as many middleweight. Junior ain't Knocking the Cobra out, but at 190lbs or so Froch might struggle to put him away too. Froch should undoubtedly win the rounds however and gets the decision ('less it's in Mexico).

    Froch would destroy Chavez Jr.

I'd actually prefer Froch to fight GGG, now that WOULD be a fight. The best power in boxing today vs the best jaw in boxing today.

I'd expect Froch to win it by late stoppage. I think his jaw is enough to weather GGG's storm, with his own heavy hands been too much for GGG to take.

This^ is one of my dream fights and appears a real possibility for 2014.

Can Frochs granite cliffs weather the storm-tide of Golovkin? I ain't sure either (which is why it's such a great match-up) but I narrowly favour GGG.

Also Golo vs Chavez Jr sounds good (I agree Carl puts a beating on the kid, but so does ggg) - guess some nasty part of me just wants to watch Jr get hurt:D

Another intriguing thing 'bout Froch - Golovkin is that their fight weight is actually pretty close GGG seems to be 168-70, Cobra 172-3 I think.

If Chavez can make 168, it's a great fight for Froch. He gets another payday, a lot of exposure and would give Jr a beating.

Thanks to the way Jr fights, it'd be fun to watch too - especially if you don't like him.
