if you were froch though i think you would find Groves annoying. its funny to watch from the outside but on the inside he would be annoying. Groves just seems happy to sit back and watch the self destruction unfold after he has pushed the right buttons.

i will be impressed if froch can keep his emotions together and beat groves. not sure the new hate camp the has started for froch will be objective enough to do the same

I don't think i would be reacting like Froch if i was in his situation. Its Froch's character and level of arrogance thats making him react in the way he is.

its amazing that Groves is getting so much support whilst Froch seems to have lost a lot of fans , i would say the majority are rooting for Groves now and Froch does'nt like it

absolutly agree i wouldnt be doing the same. Being at the level he is he should have learned to deal with this and maintain a good public image. I think at some point Groves may suffer the same fate. These games like playing the rubix cube thinking it shows he doesnt care and its all beneath him will wear thin and even more so if he loses the fight

However i think they will both find solace when the arrive at the bank to check their respective balances

Groves won a lot of people over with his performance in the first fight. I've followed Groves since he turned over from the amateurs, always liked the way he fights and his character etc but a lot of casuals and the people who have bought into the Froch media machine over the past 2/3 years just thought he was some young pretender talking a load of bollocks - a lot of what he did say, he went out and backed up which raised a lot of eye brows.

A lot of people, myself included, feel he had it taken away from him on the night, which again won many over.

I think as well people are starting to see Froch for what he is, very very arrogant guy. I know some have to have that level of arrogance to be the best at what they do and Froch, say what you want about him as a person, is a tough ******* who's done the business at world level time and time again.... but he needs to remove his head from his arse.

Agree wholeheartedly with this, has he always been like this though? Tbh I may of bought into the 'sky hype' abit and thought he was a decent enough guy, other than the Groves debacle any other examples of him being a bit of a prima donna?

funny enough i was watching a Hearn interview on ifltv last night. He was asked about who is the most demanding boxer he has. Said Froch can be a diva and hes difficult depending on what mood you catch him in

Where do we start? The international superstar contradicts himself all the time - lets remember it's between him and Lennox for being Britain's best ever apparently...

No i think the most arrogant was his talk about the WBO belt "its not a real world title" right Carl so, Eubank, Burns, Collins were never world champions what about when Calzaghe and Naz had WBO belts, i bet he'd see it as a world title if he won the thing ****ing twat sheer arrogance, fighters make belts at this stage you can have a great WBO champion and a **** WBC or WBA champion. Someone should point out to him his WBA belt is a paper title seen as Ward who schooled him is WBA champion.

What about the "I have no aspirations to be an A-list celebrity" speech... quite ironic seen as he appeared on a dance show with his mrs at the back end of last year.

i doubt that was his idea. its good to reach a more casual audience who may tune in to watch future fights meaning more earning power. As well the money gained from the show. Bit like haye has done with im a celebrity and floyd with dancing with the stars in America.

As far as I can remember, Froch has always seemed very arrogant. I think some people are just naturally like that.

I really dont get this whole Froch is arrogant Froch is a arsehole.......yes he is but what has that got to do with boxing. Do i want froch to be my best man at my wedding, ...NO, ....is he a decent boxing champ .... yes

People have confused the two over the last few months, Froch has always been a media nightmare but to question him as a fighter is frankly silly.

Well said Westy,I am always surprised as to how many fans believe the banter and hype generated before fights.I don't know Groves or Froch but I have enjoyed and followed their careers both outstanding British Boxers superb fight all shenigans are about MONEY win lose or draw hope Carl retires and looks after his money and investments carefully, can see George having a great few years and again retire to sit on a pile of cash.Cant wait for the fight......but my big problem don't know who to support!
