give me the link ..i want to buy 1 hope my seats no where near carl froch annoying gf ...if so give me a link for some good ear plugs also plz thanks
i dont believe this, so 02 are gonna make more money then, the tout buys a ticket and because that tout is now selling they resell the ticket thats bollox, how do they know they aint reselling to another tout if this was the case they could have 10 people turning up with tickets for the same seat, touts are laughing, the o2 have problems on the night and the boxing fans get shafted
I got my tickets and my mates ended up getting shafted as many did and managed to get two tickets of O2 agents FACT.. Look pal im not desperate to come on a credible boxing site and start a thread about something that didnt happen, why the **** would i do that. The only bad thing is the other two are in different seats the opposite side of the arena..
The best way to stop these ****s is through a ballot system IMO. Registering tickets doesn't work for me, to many grey areas. In-order to be eligible for a ticket you should have to supply your address & credit card number, job done. I also think Matchroom should look at a loyalty based system to. He's on about new age promoting. Well how about rewarding the fans who follow his fighters all around the world?
Twat, I was desperately trying to find a similar pic As far as I'm aware touting isn't illegal (other than football tickets) so I'm at a loss to understand why ebay act like they supposedly have.
Tickets are sold at the venue or promoter's discretion. Your ticket is just permission to enter the arena, you don't actually own the piece of paper. Usually there's a disclaimer about transferring tickets, etc. If you can't go, you're meant to return the ticket to the vendor. But, that just doesn't happen. However, if the O2 folks saw that their tickets were being sold on well above face value, they can cancel the ticket, ban the purchasing card and then put those tickets back in circulation. Also, were you going to include the line about the plié?
If thats the case, why don't they do it with the great mass of websites set up for the purpose of selling tickets at way above the face value? I was absolutely going to use the plie reference, that was my downfall as I had to google the correct spelling thus losing valuable time
I think you have to question the relationship many events promoters have with Ticketmaster, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and other resellers. Unauthorised touts, you can guarantee they'll be hunting them down where possible. Some companies scour eBay for this (ie, Six Nations Rugby) and cancel tickets resold above face value, but put them back into normal circulation. Some retain those tickets. If they can make additional money from these companies? You bet they will. All you have to do is look at the Fleetwood Mac reunion tour. Huge venues selling out almost before the tickets went on general release. And minutes later, resellers punting them at double or triple the price, package deals appearing, and popping up on eBay. Reselling is a big business and we need some legislation to stop the way customers are getting screwed over.
they would have to its not illegal to sell on boxing tickets (it is for football) but it is against the terms and conditions of the sale. Therefore the arena/promoter does have the right to cancel the transaction
