Would this fight interest anyone? Ward is ranked #2 and Miranda #7. Miranda would test Froch's chin, given the chance, but Froch may be to good a boxer for him.
Sounds like it makes sense for a boxing fan, but I think Froch wants the bigger names, Kessler, Bute, Andrade.
Miranda is always fun. Miranda and Froch in the lead up could be classic. :good Quick edit. I guess I should throw in it would be a great fight too!
Miranda always gets exposed at the highest level. His best win is over a shot Eastman and an ill A.Green
I'm not counting him out yet. He needs to make sure he can go into the ring without the ghosts ( no pun intended, but hey, it's there). What he actually needs is to take a few hard shots and not get rattled. I think that restores his confidence.
I am tempted to say I told you so about the the Taylor FrOCH fight but I am above that You were right about Taylor having enough power to hurt Froch although I claimed it was not possible. Has Froch won your respect?
ward vs froch ? ward is faster better skills . his chin isn't but i think he can do it. but i rather have him wait 1 or 2 years before he goes for a title
Just answered this in another thread, but for the record. Yes. He did what he had to do when he had to do it. I know lots of folks here don't like MMA, but in PrideFC out of Japan, they used the "last man standing concept". If the fight ended and it was clear one person would have won had the fight continued past the time limit, that person would be awarded the victory. Yeah, JT was 16 seconds from winning on points, but that would have been an aboration had it happened. Just like Bute/Andrade.
Miranda has abetter shot of beating Froch then Ward. Miranda's all wrong for Froch because he's very quick and explosive, and has a big enough punch to put him out cold. I can't see him not being caught and I can't see him dealing with Miranda's power. Its a pick'em fight but not one that his managers should put him in.
I don't rate either of these guys...so I give Miranda the better chance based on better power/ because its clear that anyone without power has little hope against Froch.
