Lets get one thing straight at light heavyweight Joe.C would win, Pavlik would get schooled just like Hopkins whooped his arse and made him look a overated fighter, Joe.C should of taken Pavlik before Hopkins did, I would bet my months wages that Joe would win that fight. And lets make no mistake here im not a joe.C nutthugger I believe a prime Roy Jones wins against Joe.C but at the end of the day the fight didnt happen... One question do you think Pavlik beats Kessler at super middleweight?:bbb
I still can't get my head round people's rationale for picking Froch. Froch and Pavlik are similar fighters; they both like to come forward and bash people up. The key differences are: 1. Pavlik has a better defence. I don't think this one's difficult to justify. Froch dangles his hands down like a ******; Pavlik has his up in the air. It's as simple as that. Froch also has a habit of leaving his chin open after he throws a punch - which was why Taylor was finding it so easy to smash him with counter right hands all the time. Pavlik doesn't jump in and leave himself exposed like that; he throws long, straight, thudding punches from range, and methodically pushes his opponents back rather than diving in. Froch is just going to get hit over, and over and over. 2. Power is not in Froch's favour. Obviously, this varies according to the weight. But if this fight did happen, it would be happening when Pavlik would be committing to moving up in weight and would be able to add on the necessary muscle rather than just bloating up like he did against B-Hop. So Froch being a SMW doesn't really make that much difference. It's more about natural power, 3. Pavlik throws more punches. This is a statistical fact. Pavlik is going to come straight out of the traps like he did against Miranda. Froch can't handle that kind of pressure; even the Pascal fight was fought at a slower pace than most of Pavlik's fights. 4. Pavlik has - and uses - a better jab. Until his fight with Taylor, Froch rarely jabbed. He seems to think he's the second coming of RJJ: just jump in with power punches, and don't worry about setting them up. In a battle of the sluggers, who can stop who in whose tracks is going to be a decisive factor, and, on the jabbing front, Pavlik wins hands-down. 5. Pavlik has a better chin. I have no idea why people persist in thinking that Froch is somehow tougher than Pavlik. Pavlik took about 20 flush power shots from Taylor before he went down, but got straight back up, took about 10-15 more, and survived. He took some pretty serious shots against Hopkins, too, and was never off his feet, despite being in the ring with a then-much stronger and heavier fighter. Contrast that with the right hand and then a glancing blow to the temple that put Froch straight on the floor for 8.
I would love to see Pavlik fight Kessler. Kessler would outclass him so badly. To bad it will never happen cause Pavlik is such a *****. Also JMM is my favorite fighter man.
How do we stop morons from interrupting threads? Rubio 154 pound fighter? You are an idiot. And he did stop Rubio in case you don't remember. Stop being an ass.
In 2006. He was as big as Pavlik 'on the night'. I know cuz I was there. So Pac is still a 105 pounder? You are the "****ing idiot". Well, I hope not since the thought of you reproducing is quite repugnant.
Are you comparing a great fighter like Pacquiao with Rubio?:rofl Not all fighters do great moving up in weight dumbass.:hi:
And dont forget Rubio was KTFO in one round against another 154 pound fighter something your *** ass boy couldn't do.:hi:
Obviously the same for posters since I wasn't comparing the two. Just pointed out that by YOUR rational Pac is a 105 pounder because he once fought at that weight. Face it, you have proven yourself to be an idiot and you aren't going to dig your way out trying to misdirect the conversation. You just get in further and further over your head. Obviously you are a true mental midget. :deal
