If Froch gets the Kessler fight this year he'll win. Kessler has been inactive really and he's no way near as good a boxer as Taylor can effectivly be. Froch would hit him more often than he hit Taylor and would be hit far less than he was was by Taylor. I see a late stppage or S/D.

I can't see this fight happening anytime soon.

Kessler is fighting fighters from the 3rd tier circuit.

Froch has proven to be one of the top guns at 168.

But if the fight does come off then Kessler will probably decapitate Froch.

No chance. You just have to look at the Kessler-Andrade fight to see what Kessler can do to a one-dimensional fighter who is wide open down the middle. On top of that, Kessler doesn't get hit by wild shots which is what Froch's offence is based upon. I think it would be as one-sided a beatdown as Calzaghe would hand to Froch.

I like Froch, or I used to like him when he was a bit more realistic. But people are forgetting that the guy is approaching 32 and has just had his '1st' fight... He was embarrassed at times against JT but eventually put on an admirable showing against a smaller man with a history of stamina, chin and heart problems.

Froch has already got too carried away with this victory and is coming out with some dillusional verbal tirades that Audley Harrison would be proud of!

EXACTLY! So far Froch has called out a retired guy, a middleweight who recently announced to the world that he'll be at 160 until he cleans it out, and a guy with well known promotional problems.:think What the hell is this boy smokin'??

Ha ha ha ha. Calzaghe hand out a 'beatdown' :) What have you been adding to your coco-pops. Calzaghe (whilst not a bad boxer) couldn't hand out a beatdown to my pet dog. He slaps, no arguments, thats what he does. Kessler would have buried Lacy as would Froch. Maybe he's a better boxer than I give him credit for but you are totally overestimating his power there.

Are you saying that Calzaghe did not hand Lacy a beatdown?

No sorry mate I actually wrote something different first with '(bar Lacy)' in brackets, but I changed what I said and forgot to put that in there. But it doesn't matter anyway coz my dog is hard as **** and Lacy is dross so my comment still stands :)

I don't want to sound like I'm slagging off Froch, because he has a big heart, a good chin and will give any fighter a long night, which makes for exciting bouts. But even as a Froch fanboy yourself, you must be able to see the serious flaws in his armoury?! Calzaghe would hand him a beatdown, and whilst you think he wouldn't actually hurt Froch thats besides the point, as Calzaghe has the tools to completely shut Froch out which is a boxing beatdown in anyones language. You only have to browse the results of polls that have been started on here about a possible Calzaghe-Froch fight - The vast majority can see the gulf in class!

Kessler actually has the power to hurt Froch. And when you consider the frequency JT was getting through with his jab Froch would have some serious problems against Kessler's signature punch. Froch-Kessler would play out just like the Froch-JT fight with the better boxer dominating, but the difference would be Kessler's stamina is one of his best traits and is a bigger man who hits harder than JT. Late KO or wide UD win for Kessler, no doubt about it.

    Coming from a Kessler fan:

Take this fight (no matter if you're stripped of your WBA title)! Offer your ****ing promoter a (much) higher percentage of the money than he usually gets and let's see if Palle agrees.
Kessler has made shitloads of money against Calzaghe and Häußler. He MUST take this fight even if only a small piece of the cake will find its way to his account... provided that Froch is really willing to fight him (calling s.o. out is easy)

Kessler had the heart of a mouse when he fought Calzgaghe.

He gave Joe about 4 rounds of competitiveness and then disappeared off the radar.

Hell, even Sakio Bika gave Joe more sh*t to handle than Kessler.

Kessler- nice guy, good boxer but has no GUTS when the bell goes.

The Froch/Kessler fight interests me greatly. I definitely respect Froch for his warrior spirit and for calling out Kessler :good
