Wrong - look for palle to ruin kessler's career by weaseling out of this fight. Would be an amazing fight, Kessler KO11!
Come on now, let's not get carried away now..Froch got a final round tko over an exhausted Taylor..Kessler dosen't have such stamina issues, and if you'll remember, he was very competitive against Calzaghe in their fight. I think Kessler takes a decision over Froch. The Dane is a much better, well rounded fighter than Froch. And I hope no one will start thinking that Froch has a chance against Bernard Hopkins, who must be salivating for a shot at him for a replay or worse of the Pavlik fight.
Mr Magic the only career Kessler is ending is his own if he doesn't bite the bullet and sort this contract squabble out now
Even Palle would not deny a unification fight in Denmark. If he does, he has evil intentions for Kessler. Palle ruined Mads Larsens peak years, I wonder if he's capable of doing the same with Kessler. :think
On paper, this looks like easy money for Kessler. Himself and Palle would be fools not to accept it. It's not as if the WBC would have a problem with this fight as Kessler was a previous champion of theirs. But as a poster has already said, it's easy to call someone out.
Yes there is..............Kessler is content to fight B level fighters after losing to JC. I'm a massive Froch fan and have been for 8 years and Kessler SHOULD beat him. but he wouldn't because Carl has more 'bottle' in his little finger than kessler has in his whole body. Froch should target the eminently beatable Bute
Rubbish. Money talks in boxing and 50,000 in Copenhagen, or 30,000 at Nottingham Forest football ground would smooth the way through any legal wrangling.
Agree about Bute. Yes, Kessler should be too good for Froch, but Kessler wouldn't have the bottle for heat Froch would bring.Kessler also knows that Froch has two wins better than any on his own record
That is not quite true. The legal squabbles will not prevent a fight from taking place. All that will happen is some further financial squabbles.
Froch is a very simple guy to figure out. His so called "awkward" style is ludicrous. His lead foot is so far out in front that he probably gives up 2" of reach with his left, and 3" with his right. He defends himself with his chin. I remember when Ali said Frazier was so easy to hit he gets mad when ya miss him. That statement is apropos. A one legged wino woman could hit Froch while skipping rope backwards and sucking on a bottle of Night Train. Kessler has very good fundamentals, a great jab, a good right hand, decent defense, and good stamina. Jab-Jab, right hand, close with a hook. wash, rinse, repeat, and Froch goes down and stays down about round 10.
Looks like froch wants to be known as the man who goes into other top fighters backyards. If he was fighting at 147 he would probably be demanded to face cotto in puerto rico (for example).
Kessler's chin hasn't been tested yet. Maybe Froch can do that. If not, Kessler will pick him apart, he throws every punch better, except the uppercut maybe.
